what do you think about this IS image

Trying to make a decision on this stone. It''s a AGS0 and comes with a Gcalc certificate with an excellent light return rating.
From what I saw, it had a good H&A pattern, though I don''t have the images to post.

Here are the stats on the AGS certificate:
Table: 55.7%
Depth: 61.9%
Crown Angle: 34.1 degrees
Pavillion Angle: 40.9 degrees
Culet......Pointed
Girdle..... 1.7% faceted

What do you think about attached IS image? Should I be worried about the whiter areas in the middle?

I see some possible obstruction issues. There are 'paddles' by the arrowheads.

Hi,

Look at the arrows at 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock, and two o'clock specifically. Do you see the darkish paddle that forms next to the arrow? From what I understand, that is obstruction. It may not be too bad though.

thanks Leila. i see shades of darkness near the arrow heads of the arrows that you pointed out. Is that the obstruction you are talking about? How would this affect the performance? Could this be affected by the angle of the shot taken?

I would also like to know if the shades of white in the center is a concern.

Sometimes this can happen because diamond is possibly tilted in the image which causes some of the arrow shafts to look shorter.

i see a ring of leakage in the middle of the diamond

do you guys see that?
is that not a good sign?

I believe it is the result of the lighting and possibly tilt looking at the image, also that proportion configuration is not one I would expect to show leakage.

I take it you have seen the diamond in person and the Idealscope image was taken by the jeweller or yourself?

yes I have seen it in person. The photo is taken by the jeweler when I asked for it. I''ll be going in the store later today, any last minute advice for me?

Ask if you can view the diamond away from the store lights just to make sure you like how it looks in plain daylight, it looks like a well cut diamond so you should be fine, but give it a good test drive if you can to put it through its paces. Also I am not sure of the clarity grade here but check it over for any visible inclusions from all angles, especially if it is of SI clarity.

Kudos to your jeweller for providing the Idealscope image!
