Long story short.. the other diamonds i was looking at were not available. this diamond is and is apparently a strong SI2 (eyeclean)

It scores a 0.9 on HCA

Here are the specs:

1.01
GIA cert
Excellent cut, excellent polish, excellent symmetry
G color
measurements 6.39 x 6.44 x 3.97
depth 61.9
table 56
crown 35
pavillion 40.6
no flourescene
no cutlet

whats the range for the HCA? This is the lowest score Ive seen for a diamond on the HCA.

What do you all think??

So far everything looks great! Do you have any images or ideal scope images of the stone to make sure?

By the way, HCA is used more as a weed out tool and a lower score doesn''t necessarily mean any better if the stone is already under 2.0. Basically, it''s best to weed out stones over two and then use other criteria from there to choose a stone.

It looks good, but be sure to look at it closely, considering it is still a SI2 (even thought it is a "strong" SI2)

Looks like it could be a nice stone if it is eyeclean.

Ditto

the jeweler saw it and said it was eye clean.. he couldnt see anything with the naked eye. with the loupe he could see an inclusion.. white inclusion off the table.

he said it had really strong hearts and arrows..

i cant see it in person since pearlmans is not close by

Well, keep us posted.

I trust Pearlman''s to be offering a great diamond.
