HCA 1.2

Which one of this do you guys prefer?

Thanks

They look nice. I would ask if they are eye clean. SI2''s visible inclusions sometimes and that might help make a better decision.

I agree with skippy. You may also want to check out White Flash or Good Old Gold as they have uprgrade options.

I will call Blue Nile tomorrow and see if they can give me the IdeaScope pics. If say they all look decent, is there a specific one you prefer?

thanks

I thought about the upgrade policy and as I understand, unlike Blue Nile, WF, and James Allen do provide it. But first, after researching at WF, JA, Good Old Gold, Madura, Diamonds on the Web, and one more, I did not find anything even close to Blue Nile prices for the same quality.

And secondly, in couple years, if she wants to upgrade to a bigger stone, I will just buy a bigger stone, and use the smaller one for an earing or something. I just graduated from college, and I am on a little of a budge right now, and I just don''t want to spent the extra $300=$400 for an upgrade option.

thanks

Poncho,

Just using the sbc db here, I found this. It''s $1240, your color is better than the Hs, but no, not the F. With it''s AGS0, you can forget about the HCA. More importantly...if you''re shopping SI2, they will be able to tell you the deal on it. Unlikely that this would be true for BN, who probably has to call over to their supplier to check it out, third hand. Also, forget about IS images, etc, from them.

But, you''ve got 30 days. Unfortunately, comparative shopping is always challenging.

Regards,

Ira,

I think you got me hooked on that stone you suggested. As I understand I should not be concerned that it scored 0.8 on HCA, because it passed all kind of AGS tests. Is that correct?

Also, should I be concerned with the pointed culet?

Finally, I am thinking of getting Whiteflashes 4 prong 18K yellow gold Tiffany solitaire setting. I think it will look good.

Thanks

No worries with an ACA.

Ditto! (but make sure it's eyeclean)

And a pointed culet is fine.

The setting is classic, it's going to be a really beautiful ring!

ask for a magnified image of the stone. It looks like it has a little black inclusion but I can't tell. If it does ask if they have an eye clean stone.
