I like to google about everything.
A few things that come to mind:

- History
- Pics and stories of shipwrecks, either from war or those that held treasure
- Whenever I'm reading anything and a location is mentioned, I'll stop to look up maps and satellite pics
- WW2 and how such atrocities could have occurred
- Pictures that are useful for my posting here and elsewhere
- Lists of the best films
- Info on films I've seen, especially filming locations
- Which fruits and veges to refrigerate
- Histories of diamonds that have names
- Recipes
- etc. etc. etc. it never ends

Google searches put the world's knowledge at our fingertips and I just treasure this.

What do you Google?

I have a lot of random thoughts/questions floating around in my head, so I google just about everything.

I really love google. I use it for pretty much everything I want to research. That said, I have been reading articles and seeing newscasts a lot lately that discuss the fact that Google tracks and keeps all of your searches. Crimes have been solved because of it. That''s great, but it''s also a huge huge huge privacy issue.

me too Zoe! :)

Just ask Google! I''m sure they''d be willing to spill all the details... for a price.

I''m a big googler. i think of several things every day that I''m curious about and in the evening I research. Of course at my age a lot of them are "is he still alive?"

Everything!!

Everything. I Google multiple times a day. Mostly just random pieces of information I come across and want to learn more about.

I tend to become obsessed with a particular topic and will spend a hours (over the course of a week - or whatever) googling up on that subject. For a long time, I would read up on Bettas!

Everything! (and everyone

I''m another everything googler. Google is my favorite thing.

i just now googled the word "Kenny" and my monitor exploded.

When i was bored at work one day i started putting in random family members names to see what would come up. Apparently my mother in law is wanted in 3 states!!

I google everything.

And if someone is lazy, use this

What DON''T I google? bomb making, fire starting techniques, dog/cat meat recipes, where the local tanning salons are... but pretty much everything else!!

everything... and use it as a calculator when my TI is too far from reach

There's truly a wealth of information out there, if you have patience to sort through the misinformation

Ditto to this one - I can''t stand not knowing the answer to anything anymore because I''m so used to just finding the answer so quickly on google!!

Everything.

I actually carry a "Google Pad" with me at all times, to remind myself of things I wanted to google when I wasn''t at a computer.

I am a google queen. If I could have a dollar for every google search I am sure I would be a very wealthy woman. So wealthy in fact, I probably wouldn''t have needed to research alternative employment for elderly ladies, which is one of my recent, more obscure searches.

Let''s see, I also needed to know how to fix my concrete mixer.

My quest to buy real 100% wool carpet led me here, thanks to Google.

And a fairly recent determination to locate the Wonders of the Universe led me on a journey of discovery.

Diverse enough for you Kenny?

I love it.

Tonight I Googled

- how to feed brine shrimp to my aquarium from those large frozen flat packs
- how to melt chocolate
- for a satellite pic of a house in the hollywood hills
- HMS ONtario sinking
- Soylent black
- Carl Sandburg's Lincoln
- What happens when you give espresso and a puppy to a child

Kenny, if you check out my latest response to DF''s ridiculous 70''s thread, you will see what I have googled this morning. In addition, I also googled this for you!

I google health questions, movies, TV shows, celeb gossip, travel info, pet info, etc. What don''t I google?

I absolutely love google. I will google random things.... like this weekend at my girls dinner... I googled oysters on my iphone lol.

Regularly I google:
horse farms
monuments or historical references I''d like to know more about
news related topics
stores
writers

mostly horses lol

Me too.

EVERYTHING! I read somewhere that Google has some sort of record of everything you''ve searched for .. I''m not sure if this is true/how it works, but I would definitely not want to see a printout of all the things I''ve ever Googled. I''m sure there''s been some weird stuff!

Oh, I use it to check spelling all the time also.

So far today:

wedding bands
historic weather in Seattle
Jewish holidays
Mosin Nagant
rifle scope
POSP scope
wedding shoes
airplane paint

Other recent topics:

macaroni and cheese
airplane
ammunition
Maine Coon
contact lens
astigmatism
wedding venue
state parks
dance lessons
tile saw
my college calendar
tax form
gun safe
espresso

I search for everything. I like to know lots about the things I am interested in (and stuff I''d rather not think about but have too -- infection, flu, etc).

I use Google as my primary search engine. I can''t get on board with Bing yet.

Oh, what do I NOT use Google for. I even use it to spell check!

ETA: I even use Google Scholar to search academic articles when I can't find them in digital libraries that I pay tons to get access to!!
