I like to keep my bed for sleeping and reading, because it's not always easy for me to fall asleep. Luckily, DH totally agrees with me about no TVs in the bedroom.
Besides, the bunnies can't get upstairs, so I like to be downstairs hanging out with them instead of upstairs in bed
Sleep, , read, cuddle, watch TV, listen to music, and study. I love my bedroom and love my bed, so if I'm home by myself I'm usually either sitting on my bed or curled up under the covers doing one of those things.
I used to do everything that LD had mentioned (except for beating eggs and watching movies because I'd fall asleep). After our younger son was born, things changed. So now in bed I:
- guard my son's sleep
- read him bedtime stories
- talk about airplanes
- eat chocolates and drink coke
- fight my cat who has a nasty habit of walking on me and purring into my ear
- sleep.
-Sleep
-Read
-
-Fold laundry
-Paint my nails
-Watch TV (rarely)
We have a small TV in our bedroom but it's rarely used. We prefer lounging in our front room over the bedroom.
When I was in law school I did a lot of academic reading in bed. It was awful! I would fall asleep while reading, and then when it was time to go to sleep, I would stay awake thinking about school Never again!
