what do you do if you want to upgrade? WF''s ACA or Expert Selection

I sort of want to upgrade my stone from a 1.1 G SI1 ACA to a 1.2 or 1.3 G or H SI1 ACA or Expert Selection from whiteflash. However, they only got a few stones in that size range and they are I color or VS clarity (I don''t want to lower the color and I don''t want to pay extra for the VS). What do you recommend I should do? Should I contact WF and have them look for a stone for me? How many have you compared stones of ACA grade and expert selection from WF? Is the ACA really that much better? TIA.

I would contact WF and explain the situation, then they can advise which is the best way to proceed. As to comparison of ACA and ES, I think you need a specific ES diamond to compare the ACA to in each case. Some may have just missed the ACA title, others may not, it depends what matters to you when choosing.

But to be honest, you're not really going to notice much, if anything in that small of a jump in size. Once stones get past the 1 ct mark, it takes more to see a noticeable increase in spread.
