What do you call a wedding ring that surrounds your engagement ring on both sides?

Like when your engagement rings slips down into the center of another ring?

I've heard it called a 'wrap' like a ring wrap, an 'enhancer' or a ring guard. Something like this?

That one seems pretty expensive to me. I'd probably get one custom made unless I could find exactly what I wanted.

Just remember you can't wear that type of band alone....Would you consider 2 eternities flanking your ring, for a similar effect, but more versatility?

Thank you thank you! Now I know what to search for.

We tried the straight eternity bands, which Andrea dearly loves BUT the problem is the band hits the prongs on her tiffany style setting and then creates a silly gap between the two rings at the top.

So we hit some stores real fast and saw some dainty "wraps" and she liked that idea! So we are now trying to find some photos to give over to whiteflash so they can do their thing. I had no idea what they were called.

Any search tips??

And you know what, that's a good point that you cannot leave your engagement behind and only wear the ring when you want to.

Maybe changing the setting of the solitaire would do it?

Lovely ring! I'm personally not a big fan of the ring guard/enhancer look (I prefer a single curved band in situations like this), but if she likes it, go for it! I don't think it's really important to be able to wear a band on its own without the engagement ring. But you could always just get a simple cheap silver band for vacations and such when you want to leave this beauty at home.

I was just going to suggest having a "contour band" made so that it has a curve to go around the prongs of the ERing. I have friends who got one contour band to wear with their Ering and then a straight band if they wanted to wear their wedding ring alone.
