what do you all think of this diamond? i think i found the one!

hey all

im still shopping for a loose stone for my gf. i am looking through the quest jewelers website and this loose diamond caught my eye. i wanted to see what you all think about it. this is will be going on a Memoire purity collection setting - eternity band in platinum.

here are the specs:

1.22 Signature Ideal G color SI2 57.0% table, 61.2%, excellent, excellent $5,823

i think i should be able to get this for about 4900 with the discounts they apply to it.

It has excellent polish and excellent symmetry. No Florescence.

No Culet

Girdle is medium.

GIA certified.

Dimensions: 6.87 x 6.89 x 4.21


some background.. my budget for a loose diamond is at around 5,500 for a 1.20 ct diamond. i spoke to my gf and she rather have a diamond that is larger in size and everything else fall into place accordingly... good cut, colorless/near colorless and eyeclean.

i dont have the crown or pavilion angle information.. ill see if i can get it from quest.


i''d appreciate any insight and feedback i can get as this is obvoiusly a very big purchase and i dont want to have any regrets later.

im sure they can still give me feedback with what i have provided so far... i need some advice as i would like to purchase soon. im waiting for quest to give me the crown and pavilion angle info.

DAMNIT! no one could give me any useful feedback with the information i provided and now this diamond is sold!!!

AHHH!!! I know didnt have the pavilion/crown angles but i wanted some PSers input with the info i did provide...
