Eeegads! Is anyone else out there compulsive??

I just won this: 1.45ctw omc three stone in platinum mounting, circa 1930. I paid $10 per point. I see the middle stone may be questionable and the setting is a bit wonky, but I could get a quote from Singlestone to reproduce it. The vendor has 100% feedback and a 7 day return policy.

I''d love input, on the ring OR my need for an intervention!

Hey-a!

I saw this ring. It's cool, but honestly, I am not crazy about the center stone and the matching. The center is an omc, and the sides appear to be oec. That's just me, though, and I am a stickler about matching. Good thing about the return policy--it could be great in person, but the seller photos don't do it.

I feel ya on the compulsive component!

The engraving is cool--and I love that it's clearly a very old piece.

Dittoes. I do love OMCs (and OECs, for that matter), but it''s hard to tell what these look like in these non-PS-quality pics

Absolute worst-case scenario, you don''t like it and return it - no biggie!

I''ve always wanted a three stone, and if the stones pan out but the setting is as wonky as it looks in the pics, I can have Ari reproduce it. If the stones don''t wow me though, I won''t hesitate to send it back for a refund!
