Off the top of my head..

The Carpenters
The Stylistics
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Fleetwood Mac

George Michael

Did see Dylan a few times, before and after electrifying, the Who, the Trogs, the Animals, all in small club venues.
We lived near Woodstock and could not be bothered to drive over there.
Kinda wish we’d made the effort.
Or maybe i was there and can’t and remember lol
Wish I’d experienced ~
Grateful Dead
Janice Joplin
The Doors

I've been lucky enough to see all the bands I've really wanted to see. And ride the tops of the crowds during some of my favourite bands live sets (yes those are my fuzzy legs lol)20170924_122016.png

None as when I was younger I think I attended every concert I wanted to..I wrote in another thread I passed on Patti Smith tickets and she's playing right in my neighborhood and I love her but I have seen her countless times in concert throughout the years so didn't have a burning desire to stay up late and see her again.

First concert was Billy Joel in I think the year 1979 or 1980 and last concert hmmm was probably Patti Smith about a year or 2 ago at the Beacon in NYC .

I prefer the smaller venues like The Stone Pony, The Beacon, The Paramount, and clubs throughout the city. Huge crowds are a huge turnoff for me and while I have gone to the larger concert venues just to hear some of my favorite artists they are not my first choice of venue.

I'm one of those people who put cotton in the ears to muffle the loud noise because I get this ringing in my ears when the sounds are too loud and I feel deaf for hours after a concert. So I started doing that in the 80s and never had a problem with the ears after that. The decibel level is dangerous and can damage our hearing. PSA fyi.

Alice In Chains
Nirvana
NWA
Fleetwood Mac

I’ve been fortunate enough to see the rest of the bands that I love.

Zeppelin :cry2:

Johnny Cash. Love, love, love his voice and that vast repertoire. Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Laura Nyro.

Jimm

I did get to see a fair number of the big names in rock in the 70's, and I even caught one of Sir Paul's recent concerts. But popular music is concerned I my heart leans more towards the "folk" side of the folk rock tradition.

Jimmianne: Janis. Definitely!

Not so much when I was younger but I do regret not getting to see Amy Winehouse before she passed. Yeah I know she was a train wreck but I love her music.

You must be my age DF :lol-2:
I will add the Bee Gees to your list

I was fortune enough to see their concert in Oakland like 1981.

I would've loved to see Harry Chaplin in concert. I just love his story telling songs. Sadly he passed when I was too young to see him...

Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra
Bee Gees
Queen

DK

Yes - I was at the second concert. Quite the experience - definitely memorable!

I’m going to see Steven Tyler a block from my house at Ribfest on July 7.

Billy Joel
John Denver
Andy Williams
The Platters
Chicago with original lead
The Mamas and the Papas
James Taylor
Jim Croce
Dan fogelberg

Will come back with more...

Ones I regret not seeing? Can't think of any.
Didn't go to a lot of concerts, but went to the two concerts that really mattered to me; Eric Clapton and Tina Turner.
Love Miss Tina! =)2

The Beatles is the only group that I would probably pay $500 to see. I was gonna see Neil Diamond but his ticket cost $150, so I pass.

The legendary Canadian pianist Glenn Gould.

I saw The Police in one of their last concerts, Elvis Costello opened for them and the audience had no idea who Elvis was. I saw Shawn Colvin and REM at my college, when they were still unknown. I saw Patti Smith live recently at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. She was Amazing. I’ve seen Santana at the Filmore. I’ve seen James Taylor live on the UNC campus. I have very few regrets, maybe not ever seeing Joni Mitchell, Yaz or Soul 2 Soul live!

Ah yes, I would have loved to see Joni Mitchell and James Taylor.

IIRC I've been to only three concerts of non-classical artists, Joan Baez, Natalie Cole, and Bruce Cockburn.

To me the concert experience has never held much appeal.
I hate crowds.
Non-classical concerts are too loud and the sound on the CD/record is vastly superior, cheaper, and can be enjoyed over and over.

I find nothing magical about being in the presence of a 'special' person, or go for laser light shows.
I don't get starstruck.
Living in LA for most of my life I've seen many celebs surrounded by frenzied gawkers.
I walk the other way or ask the waiter if we can move to a table far from the hubbub where I'll sit with my back to the celeb.
Everybody's shit stinks the same.

Guys- it's not that hard to find James Taylor- he tours pretty much all the time
We've seen him a few times the past few years- it's an amazing concert.
His guitar player, Michael Landau is a hero of mine- he makes a six string sound so much like a pedal steel he can fool you on Sweet Baby James.
Then he's got Steve Gadd on drums- what an amazing band.
Definitely, see him while you can...
I never saw Jimi live. No real regrets though- like others I have some incredible concert memories- besides the Who with Keith Moon, probably the top moment was Queen at the Beacon theater.....

The Eagles reunion tour
Fleetwood Mac
