What color are your eyes?

I figured I''d attach a pic. They sometimes seem more green, and others more brown, but they don''t change that much.

Btw, I had fake eyelashes on in this pic - they don''t really look like that! haha. They looked nice far away, but look a little strange close up.

As much as I''ve always wished to have blue eyes, they are brown

However, my husband has blue eyes, so he says I do ''have'' blue eyes, I just get to look at them

Love this!

Mine are hazel - more green than light bown... it''s a bit weird.

I know there was another thread like this a while back, but with the search function down, I can't find it. Anyways, my eyes are greenish-blue with orangeish-brown in the middle. Here's a pic.

Mine are moss green with a golden-brown ring at the center. If I''m being honest, I should say they''re hazel, but I claim that they''re green. The amount of gold varies from time to time; purple eye shadow/liner makes them look very green.

My sister has very dark grey/blue eyes.

Mine are blue/gray. If I could name them I would call the color steel blue. I wear purple shadow and I have to wear makeup because my eyes are so light that if I dont I kinda look dead. They are very pretty when I cry or I am at the beach. When I cry they are a crystal teal color and when I am at the beach they are royal blue. Most of the time they are the dead gray color.

mine look light blue but really they''re kind of a sky blue with a lot of white mixed in

I''m pretty sure that albino people have red and violet eyes. Less melanin, I believe?

MC-as far as shadows go, I don''t wear a lot of makeup, but since red and green are complimentary, shades of purple would make the green pop! Brown''s also tend to work well. I do wear a green mascara, which makes the green pop a bit!
is that the mabeline color solutions or - ack, I forget the name.... I got one right before we moved to china and I used it up - I need to buy like 10 of those things, I''m paranoid they''re going to discontinue. Of course I get the blue one - but they''re perfect!! On a real blonde black is so dark (which is fine for dramatic times) and brown just looks WRONG because there is nothing brown about me. But the slate blue/grey color of that mascara was PERFECT. It was dark enough to let my eyelashes show up, but subtle enough to not make them stand out too much, and the color brought out the color of my eyes and looked reasonable instead of like I''d gotten my eyes stuck in chocolate.

Yellow. That''s what it says on my driver''s license.

Mine are always changing. Green most of my life but as I have *sigh* aged, they have become more blue. Both of my parents had crystal blue eyes. When I am moody they turn grey..

I have color change eyes too. When I''m pissed they''re gray and when I''m upset-like really crying-they''re crystal blue.

It''s so cool how eyes change. Mine go vampire neon green when I''m angry or crying.

twice I have seen my eyes a different color - both times it was an intense bright aqua - the first time I convinced myself that it was the lighting or what I was wearing or whatnot... the second only ONE of my eyes turned so it was totally obvious. The first was in my teens, the 2nd in my 30''s. I don''t hold my breath for it to happen lol

My husband has tri-color classic hazel eyes (brown, gold, green) and our daughter had the bluest of blue eyes until she was 4 and then they turned green. I only see true blue in them rarely and the shade of green varies wildly from pea soup to aqua. My older son has amazing eyes - they''re like camo. Every eye color you can imagine are in his eyes and it''s like a monet painting of intermeshing splotches. My younger son''s eyes are BLACK. He was 4 before you could even find his pupil. You still can''t at a normal distance, you have to take him into the sun and look really close to see they''re very very very dark dark dark brown lol

My mom had consistent blue eyes the color of denim and my father has those kind of meadow green eyes with the spots. My MIL has brown eyes and my FIL has aqua blue/green eyes.

Green!

My entire family has blue eyes. Mostly neon blue, but my fathers side had few shades darker.

FI has greenish eyes... can''t wait to see what color eyes our kids will have :)

Mine range from bright neon blue (people ask if they are real sometimes..) to average light blue.

Hazel is the official color, but like a lot of you on this thread, they are color change. I wonder if the color change people are more likely to respond to this, because in my experience this is rare in real life. It generally shocks people that I have light brown eyes some days and very green eyes on other days (depending on color I''m wearing, the light in the room and even my mood). They can also be very yellow. People have said I have ''cat eyes'' or ''golden eyes''.

When I was born, they were blue and my mother was so shocked that she told the hospital nurse to take me away and bring her ''real baby''. The nurse told her that I was definitely her real baby since I was the only baby that had been born in the hospital that week. She still often says that she was embarrassed pushing me around in my stroller because I was so different looking from her, and everyone noticed and remarked on it. My mom is black, quite dark-skinned, and never imagined having a baby with blue eyes--or green eyes either. I resemble my dad--but he did not have hazel or green eyes, though some of his family members did (do).

I do not wear eye makeup anymore, I am so allergic. When I did, I usually used sort of taupish, brownish colors of eye shadow, very subdued. I never did wear mascara or eyeliner, because I don''t need it. I don''t need eye makeup to make people notice my eyes, they are noticeable whether I want them to be or not. It''s generally the first thing about my appearance that people remark on and has been since I was little.

Mine are blue - but sometimes look greyer
My husband has very bright blue eyes :)

Green. They were bright blue until I was about 4 and then they changed to baby crap green.

I usually wear champagne or plum colored eye makeup. Right now I''m wearing Mary Kay lilac and sweet plum with amethyst eye liner. I get the most compliments on it. I''ve tried the color enhancing store makeups. Covergirl (I think) has a ruby colored mascara that makes me look like I''m truly psychotic.

Wow, lots of green eyes here! Everyone who's posted pics has very neat eye colors... elrohwen yours are startlingly interesting- they look like they probably change color quite a bit. And LynnB, yours are such a pure green shade. You don't see that shade of green much at all. And Amethyste, your eyelashes are like... incredible. I'm totally envious!

ETA: lulu, you can't say yellow eyes and not post a pic! Share with the class, lol. I'm curious what that looks like!

Mine are brown. My mom has brown that are lightening with age (scary) and my dad has hazel eyes. My brother has bright blue eyes and my sister green/hazel. My husband comes from a long line of blue eyed people. Cannot think of one family member of his that does not have blue eyes. My DD had blue (for a few months), then gray eyes and they finally settled into hazel when she was around 2. They are mostly green but do have brown specks and do color change.

I also should note that when I was 16 my eyes changed from a definite steely blue to a definite medium green. I also lost a band of freckles across my nose that year. I have no idea how or why.

I have dark brown eyes.

My older sister has green eyes.

My younger sister has blue/gray eyes.

FI has brown eyes but one of them has one quarter where there''s no pigment. It''s really weird and it freaked me out when I met him. I would say 95% I stare at that spot when I''m talking to him.

I think I''ve cared for so many cats I now have a little cat DNA.

Mine are sort of a washed-out blue. When I was younger, they were a brighter blue, but like everything else.....

So if there is no pigment, is it just black there? What''s it look like?? I''m intrigued!
FWIW, I''m sad that since DH has brown eyes as do his parents...which means my kids prob have zero chance of getting my baby blues

Blue - gray.

It''s so interesting how eye color changes for some of us! Mine are brown and they''ve never changed ever.

I love green eyes. TGuy has lovely, chocolatey eyes.

Mine are brown (surprise!) but not even a nice rich brown. They are as blah as brown eyes can get. Like ick muddy murky water brown.

Amelia''s eyes came out slate gray/blue. I know that''s the universal new baby color but I thought all asian babies (or babies with asian in them) came out with brown eyes. And with her reddish auburn hair and blue eyes, I felt like I was holding someone else''s kid for sure.

I was really happy when her eyes turned brown.
