I am still an ipod/mp3 player virgin. My dh has about 5 of them, so I''ve used his once or twice, but I don''t download my own music anymore (about to start a thread on this too) so I don''t really have a use for one. I watch tv while I exercise, but I would like to listen to music while walking my dog and LO. I have an arm band radio, but it''s on it''s last legs, so I might have to take the plunge.

I also don''t have a smart phone, but those aren''t nearly as ubiquitous yet so I feel like I still have some times before feeling like a dinosaur for not having that one.

I don't have facebook or myspace.. I feel like the only 20something who doesn't. I have enough trouble managing my emails and phone calls, though, I don't need another venue of social informa to worry about.

No Iphone, no Ipod. No blackberry. So no BBm''s. I swear being with kids and hubby, with their fingers flying on their gadgets gets me sooo cross.

I am happy to be free... For the time being at least.

I don''t jump on most bandwagons.

I don''t have my own MP3 player, although I have a little old thing that I take to dentist appts. (It was DH''s first).

I don''t have a smart phone.

I don''t have myspace, facebook, etc

I probably don''t do/have many more things. But, since I don''t do/have them, I can''t think of any on my own!

I have an mp3 player but it''s 3 years old and not very fancy - I take transit daily so I need it or I would go insane :)

I don''t have MySpace and only use Facebook to check new photos of my niece/nephews
I have the cheapest cell phone I could buy 2 years ago

MP3 player, smart phone, myspace, facebook.

no facebook, myspace...I have an ipod that DH bought me but I don''t really use it so it''s pretty much DHs now. my phone is the samsung moment and I love it.

I have to admit I''m not on the technology bandwageon at all. I hate my cell phone (and I use it a few times a month at most). My contract is up in July and I''m thinking of just getting one of those pay-as-you-go phones. DH bought me an ipod several years ago, I downloaded three songs. The only time I enjoyed using it was when we downloaded the Rick Steves audio tours when we went to Italy. I have no desire to get a flat screen TV or any type of navigational device (I genuinely like using maps and figuring out how to get places on my own). Heck, I can''t even bring myself to buy a vehicle with an automatic transmissioin. I searched high and low to find a manual in the last vehicle we bought.

I jumped on, and then swiftly off, of the Facebook wagon. There''s just too much information out there, and I don''t know how to react when I meet for coffee with a friend whose life is already on Facebook. Do I tell her that I already know about her recent vacay/breakup/makeup/horrible courseload? I like life without a Facebook. I''m invited to less events, but the one''s I am invited to, someone wants me there bad enough to remember me and make a phone call, rather than tick a box. Sometimes I do miss the ease of contacting people, staying in touch, and sending mass messages. But, its so easy, that you wind up receiving a daily overdose of all of the above.

I love technology and adopt it as early and as often as I can afford.

The bandwagon I haven''t jumped on is exercise related: I feel like the only person on the planet who hasn''t run a marathon or done a triathlon--or even an Iron Man! I like to jog and hike and kayak, but I''m just not into killing myself for sport. I''d rather stick my nose in a good book.

I admire those who "just do it," though.

I don''t text message ever. I got an Ipod about a decade after everyone I knew and I have not had a cell phone for over a year and when I did, all it did was call. Until my bro gave me his old one, I didn''t have a DVD player.

Non technology, I don''t tan, never have, never wanted to. I live in the sunniest state in the country and there are tanning salons in every strip mall and I have never wanted to do it.
I have also never been drunk, which combined with "grad student" makes me quite the rarity.

I sure don''t sound 25 from this post!

Nor like a brazen hussy!

I''m iPod free but I''m considering jumping on. Not for the music, but I need a portable (pocket sized) device that has wifi (I NEED to listen to baseball games and my team isn''t broadcast locally). I''m hoping I find something that doesn''t cost so much though...

I also don''t get the smart phone craze but I have a feeling in a couple years that is going to be all you can buy! I make phone calls on my cell phone (saying that makes me feel like a dinosaur!).

I haven''t jumped on the skinny jeans bandwagon either. I just don''t think they''re very flattering on anyone over a size two, which I most certainly am not. Although i''ll jump on almost any electronics bandwagon that rolls by!

No mp3 player (except the one in my phone), no i-anything - I think the new ipad is a ridiculous waste of space and money.
No halo's on jewellery (no offence intended, just saying they are popular).
No skinny jeans - not suited to my curves at all!
and No social networking - FB, myspace, twitter; I must admit sometimes I wonder if I am the only 20-something who just doesn't get it (so thanks Yssie, lol!)..

I do have a smart phone, a Nokia, and admit I love it and get alot of use out of it.

I am totally anti HD Televesion and HD radio... I really can''t tell the difference so why pay for it? And I never got into Twitter.

Amen.

Actually I don''t wear pants at all- skirts or dresses all the way... so, I guess that''s a "trend" I''ve bypassed, lol.

I love techie gadgets. DH does not. He laughs at my glee over Kindles and iPods and etc. However I am absolutely dead set against getting a Facebook page or whatever it is. My sister wants me to do it so bad- she''s a FB junkie- but I just don''t need another time drain like that.

None of it - no smartphone (whatever that is) no ipod / mp3 no marathon running, no great big tv, cable, satelite, no games systems or consoles (and none allowed in the house, I detest them) and no electronic methods of reading books.

I don''t have much interest in gadgets. I love my laptops though, and I do have a FB account. DH bought a small flatscreen tv and dvd recorder thingy. I don''t mind that because I can throw it in a cupboard when we aren''t watching it.

I''m 35. If you''d asked me this question 10 years ago, I''d have had all the latest gadgets and a great big credit card bill to prove it.

Pretty much any new technology, facebook and twitter.

Well lots of things. MP3 (I don''t have one), twitter, those smart phone things (iphone/blackburry)

I totally just remembered the bandwagon I have never been on that no one even believes me. No Jeans. Have never bought a pair and other than my mom''s old pair that I used for painting, I have never owned them or wore them. I don''t like the fit, the feel or the look on me, so I wear skirts and dress pants, but not jeans.

twitter annoys me. And I never did eight track-I knew it wouldn''t last.

+1 on the skinny jeans.

Although DH and I are pretty tech-savvy, we still don''t have a flat screen TV. I still have the very first TV I bought for myself when I got out of college in the mid 90''s.

I plan to keep it and use it until the tube blows out!

There are so many things! I''m really behind the times, but that''s nothing new, really.

I''m not tech savvy, so I don''t have:

MP3 Player/iPod
iPhone or Smartphone (I''m not exactly sure what a Smartphone is, to be honest.)
Kindle
Blackberry (I got my first cell phone about 5 years ago, and I only learned how to text a few years back, so a BB wll have to wait.)
MySpace/Twitter (I think I''m too old for MySpace and I don''t get Twitter. I barely keep up with FB, which I prefer. Speaking of FB, I check it/post occasionally, but I hate how some people consider it as their primary way to keep in touch with people. I much prefer real conversations via the phone or e-mail.)

Also:

Pretty much anything fashion related (I stick to the same stores I know I like, and I could care less about designer anything.)

BIH -- my husband doesn''t like jeans either.

The bandwagons I avoid are of the sporting variety.

Have: a cell phone. It makes phone calls. I grudgingly accept that it is capable of other things, none of which I use: I did try to get as simple a one as I could, because I got the same model for my husband the true Luddite, and I have to be his "manual". And if he has to consult the me, the manual, he''s already to the point of really cranky.

Have: a MP3 player. A small (16gig) Zune. I like it for work, but it''s not so great in the car for some reason. Crappy cord maybe? Not sure, but this just illustrates my annoyance with some of the technology - you''re always having to fiddle with the dang stuff.

Have: A Facebook page. I keep it pretty locked down. I use NO 3rd party apps. EVER. And I have very few friends - pretty picky about who I ask to be friends with and who I allow to friend me. On balance, it''s been kinda nice. I''ve met interesting folks there.

Have: a HD flatscreen TV. Cared not so much about the HD part, (although it is very nice) than about the fact that I have a small house and the whole unit takes up wads LESS space than the old style TV. Score a big one for technology. I get a better picture with less space used. Now there''s a TRUE benefit. What''s not to like?

Don''t have anything else. No 3, 4, 5, or 6g phone, no twitter, no eReader, play no online games, etc.

Technology is a balance to me. I don''t hate it, but I don''t jump on the bandwagon. Not an early adopter, ever. It has to have a real benefit for me to take money away from some other desire - like jewelry - and use it for something that will be obsolete very quickly. I can''t afford to ignore it, because I''m in IT, but I don''t have to adopt most of it, and I don''t.

I have many of the things listed here (though my iPod is 4 years old and I rarely use it). But I don't have an automatic transmission on my car! DH and I will always buy manual - driving automatics just makes me frustrated.

I also don't use Twitter - I think it's ridiculous. I'll admit I kind of like FB but Twitter eludes me - what's the point again?

Reality TV

I haven''t jumped on the anti-skinny jeans bandwagon. I love them and wear some pretty much every day!
