What are you doing with your dress after the wedding?

My poor dress has been hanging on the closet door for over a month now and I can''t decide what to do with it. Besides preserving and selling, are there any other options? Has anyone dyed their dress a different color to wear as an evening gown? Any other ideas?

My friend''s sister used her wedding gown to make the batismal gown for her children and it has been passed around in the family. I thought that was a really neat idea!!

I had mine boxed and it sat under my bed for years. We''re not having children and the style is now "outdated," so we donated it to charity...hopefully someone who couldn''t afford a wedding dress would be able to use it...
