As a person that enjoys coffee (no, DH, I am not addicted, I just really like the taste, and yes, it makes me less cranky, and so what if I get 3 a day, shut up!), I like to hear other people''s orders.

In the morning, I have a Grande Americano with room. In the p.m., I am currently drinking a Grande nonfat 2 pump sugar free vanilla 2 pump sugar free caramel latte.

And you???????

mmm... Starbucks...

I never really liked Starbucks... and I really only buy from them starting in October through around January... holiday coffees mmm...

During the holidays... my obsession is a Pumpkin Spice Latte... I could seriously take that stuff through IV....

Then I discovered the Caramel apple spice (which is coffee free!!!) and so I would alternate... tall PSLatte in the a.m. and a GRANDE Caramel Apple spice in the afternoon...

Now that the holidays are over I discovered the cinnamon dolce latte.... so now.. I just have maybe 1 a day.. maybe... and I make it a tall nonfat cinnamon dolce latte... no whip cream... I''m trying to cut back on the amount of syrup they put in.. so eventually it wont be that bad for me...

Coffee is such an addiction for hubby and me.... 3 years ago on Valentines day.. I bought him his very own Coffee Roaster.. yes.. you read it ROASTER.. so he has an obsession and roasts his own coffee starting with the green coffee beans... so its hard for us to buy coffee out... but when we arent home... starbucks it is...

I never got into starbucks. However, I have a starbucks story.
I lived for a semester in Ireland and because the university has a lot of American students, they threw a thanksgiving party for us. Well, I went with my German roommates because my FI was in germany for the holiday visiting his family there. So were are sitting at the table and starbucks comes up. Everyone starts listing their favorite drinks and a girl close to me says a "grande latte". One of the Germans started laughing so hard that he nearly choked and the other one looked so shocked I thought she must have believed she heard something terrible. Well, as it turns out "grande latte" has a VERY different, sexual meaning in Germany.
Moral of the story, don''t order a grande latte next time you are in Berlin.

OMG that''s a funny story - totally made me giggle over my morning diet coke

I don''t normally drink coffee but I''m a fan of coffee desserts and I used to adore caramel frappucinos in high school (although I didn''t drink many since I was a ballet dancer).

Since I now know how many calories are in a normal caramel frappucino with whipped cream

I''ve been trying out all the light versions of the frappucinos - if you ask for the light version, tall size, no whip, they are about 100-130 calories a pop, so not too bad for a nice refreshing treat on a warm day. So far my favorite is the raspberry mocha one.

In the winter I''ve been known to get a tall skim steamed milk or latte with a pump of sugar-free syrup - also tasty but not too heavy on the calories

We don''t have a starbucks in our city--this is a blessing and a terrible shame

so when I do get out of town I luv to treat myself

In the fall it has to be a tall, 1 pump, lactose free pumpkin spice latte

Any other time it''s a tall americano with a touch of honey.

Now that iam preggo it''s a big fat evil temptation

Well, during the holidays I LOVE their white chocolate peppermint mocha...however, I got on their website to see how bad it was for me and realized even the tall, nonfat version had over 300 calories
23.gif
so I switched to their new skinny vanilla lattee for 90 cals and it is pretty good. Not as good as the other, but pretty good. We live in South Florida, so often it is too hot for a hot drink, so I will get their green iced tea.....so yummy!

I know, the calories can be a killer!! Americanos are just 10 cal, and full of caffienated goodness!!

I like the non fat sugar free cinnamon dolce latte. I also sometimes add the sugar free caramel to it, or have that alone. I do not add whipped cream.

I also like their iced teas, with splenda.

I'm just a boring ol' decaf with whole milk and splenda sorta girl.

But I did pick up my husband in a Starbucks ten years ago while I was waiting for my then-boyfriend to arrive! Every once in a while when the HH is mad at me he'll go around muttering "Should have gone to Caribou."

Steph -- I saw a sign for the skinny latte the other day and wondered if it was different than just a latte with skim milk. Is it special somehow?

I like their chai tea. It''s a little on the sweet side for me, but it is WAY too bland anywhere else I''ve tried. I like my chai tea SPICY, dammit!

And around Xmas time, I like their eggnog latte. Mmmmm!

Same as always...

Tall nonfat latte

If its was a sleepless night...

Double tall nonfat latte.

I don''t like sugary coffee. I drink my brewed coffee BLACK.

OMG...just spit my coffee all over my keyboard. Flippin' HYSTERICAL!

ETA: unless I am mistaken, skinny used to mean "nonfat" milk, although Starbucks baristas don't use that termi--they say non-fat. However, they have a new "skinny" line of drinks now that are sugar-free. Mochas, caramel, cinnamon dolces etc. I've only tried the mocha and I thought it was vile. But then again, i like my coffee plain, so that might be an issue. But when I do crave chocolate (aka a mocha) I need the real thing

Yeah - I got a weird look from the lab bench next to mine from giggling at that

Venti non-fat sugar free french vanilla (= 1 pump vanilla, 1 pump hazelnut) latte. My MoH was a starbucks barista and taught me how to order it quickly :)

This is pretty much my standard order everywhere, including in my own kitchen, but the addiction began at Starbucks. To be honest, I really don''t like any of their crazy seasonal drinks - always too sweet. I do love their chocolate muffin with the creme center though (in grad school, I could only get it if I made it to the drive thru before 9am- it would be sold out by late morning), and DH loves the white chocolate peppermint hot chocolate that they have around the holidays.

i'm not a huge fan of starbucks. i like coffee bean because i tend to drink my coffee black and just enjoy theirs better. the best is from my kitchen though. i love lavazza and can't get it anywhere here.

but. . .when i'm at starbucks with friends or there is no coffee bean and i want something sweeter:

grande non-fat vanilla latte with one pump hazelnut.

ETA: or a venti passion tea lemonade sweetened with valencia (or orange if they are out).

Dee that is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. TOTALLY something my DH would do.

Starbucks has the best decaf coffee around as far as I am concerned. I love coffee but not the caffeine jitters. For whatever reason, Starbucks has a decaf that is very strong in flavor.

At the moment, I am all about the Grande Skinny Decaf Mocha.

And now, I want to get one...

Just call me Britney. I love their frappaccinos. But I only get them once in a great while. Otherwise, and still kinda rarely, it''s a grande cappuccino. (Am I spelling that right??? Don''t think so but have to leave so please forgive the attroshus spelling, LOL).

Normally, I get a decaf latte. Every now and then, I get a decaf mocha.

In the summer, I like the pomegranate juice blend.

I personally don''t drink coffee but from Starbuck''s I get a Strawberry Lemonade blended. It is super yummy..

I usually get a white chocolate mocha venti(?) or a caramel macchiato venti. With whipped cream. So fattening but so delish!

I don''t like coffee but they do have good hot chocolate.

double iced mint mocha, or their chai tea is pretty good with non fat milk

Cello, Coffee bean rocks, but out east they do not have them! Coming from the west coast I love c bean the best!

I don''t like sugary coffee, so when I do go to Starbucks, it is always the same for me. Tall non-fat latte. If it is late in the day, I get it in decaf.

I do love their TAZO black tea, just plain. I bought some at my local grocery store. It is the best black tea I have ever had. I just add a pinch of brown sugar to that.

i'm not the hugest fan of sbucks, it's so mainstream that their espresso is seriously weak and tasteless so that the masses will like it...i prefer peet's or seattle's best. i love caribous too but only ever see it when traveling at certain airports.

but i do love that sbucks has a new sugar free nonfat mocha that is only 90 cals for a tall and quite tasty. and if i do get a specialty coffee (once a week maybe as i brew my own at home in mornings) like a latte or mocha it's typically from sbucks since they are right across from work, but i will drive with coworkers to peets if they go, since we all prefer it.

I am going to have to try Peet''s, they just opened one near us. Thanks Mara.

Linda

One caramel apple spice, please. (I know it''s not coffee but I lurve it so.)

At sbucks I like the bold roast with room for half and half. I''m not too much of a flavored coffee drink fan. I like mine straight up. To me adding artificial flavor to sweet, delicious coffee is kinda like A1 on a filet mignon. The one exception to the rule is when we eat breakfast at a crepe place near me. Their mochas are fab! I really love Coffee Bean, though. Their Mocha Java coffee blend is yummy. We have a Peet''s coming soon and I can''t wait to try it. I

coffee. I take a break every now and then because it gives me the worst dark circles when I drink it every morning. I don''t last long without it...The longing quickly returns!
