If thats the emerald ring from your other post I’d say it’s an oiled emerald that has dried out or cleaned in an ultrasonic.
Emeralds often have crystal imperfections within and that’s why they oil them, makes them less apparent. When the oil dries out (over time, wearing the ring while in the shower, in the pool, in the ocean) the imperfections become much more apparent.
the emerald can be re-oiled or alternatively OptiCon on now used because it’s a permanent treatment. You need to get your jeweller to send it to someone who does this treatment. It’s not an “at home” job.
