Hi everyone,

What do you guys think of this diamond from GOG? When describing the clarity - Tim had this to say: ''Eye clean…it has a small black piquet on the edge of the table…..I was able to see it for a second with my naked eye, after I found it with the loupe from about 4 inches away, then I lost it again…it looks just like it is part of the facet….''

Thanks!

It looks like a beautiful traditionally cut diamond. If you are not specifically wanting a hearts and arrows cut, then there is nothing wrong with going with a stone like this. Note that only the hearts and arrow stones have the lifetime trade-up, etc., though.

Yes it could look very nice - just watch the extremely thin part of the girdle that there aren't any durability issues, I am sure as GOG has this diamond in house it is fine, but just check with them for peace of mind. I have a diamond similarly cut to this one - would I change anything about the cut? NO!!!!! It's gorgeous!

it''s a good stone. no you won''t notice the black spot, or at least you will always know its your stone (a good identifier)

purdy

if you look at my avatar one of the side stones has a similar black spot in the same location. can you see it? no.
