OK, you guys have been very helpful with my first post/stone and were the deciding factor that postponed my engagement!! We''ve found another stone and I just want to know what your thoughts are...

Is it eye clean?...by that I mean have you actually seen it, and are happy with the inclusions?

Otherwise, how does it appear to your eye?

The proportions look good as far as you have gone...but what about the girdle and diameter?

Yes Gary - the girdle must be pretty thick to be that deep?

We have seen the stone and it is really eye clean and looks pretty decent under the scope as well. The inclusions are near the edge where the prongs would sit. As far as diameter, of course I don't have the report in front of me, but I want to say 1.4-2.5% ? I am not too sure, however. I had the report in front of me yesterday, but could not get on the site. It fares well on the HCA scale also. What would you expect to pay for a stone like this?

The fluoro is great with I color.

the girdle has to be thick or slightly thick bordering on thick with those #'s. this only reduces spread and will not reduce light return etc.

The price is between you and your vendor.
But you will find stones this size in excellent cut to be rarer than hens teeth.
