WG vs Platinum for pave setting

I''ve read some of the post on this debate but I''m wondering if it''s a pave setting (with a thin band) does it make a difference? Do you think it would be better to get platinum in the intance of a thin pave band? I really like the look and have no personal preference between the two but I''m afraid a thin band in WG will bend.

Well....platinum will actually bend more than WG. But in pave, that is a good thing because it''s more conforming, so if you bump it, it''s less "rigid" and more likely to keep the stones in. Does that make sense?

It does make sense. Thanks...now I have to figure out if I want to put my money into a bigger stone or a platinum setting
