WF Martini settings

I am looking to purchase a pair of studs approx 1.50ctw. What is everyone''s thought on the 3 prong martini setting vs. the 8 prong martini from Whiteflash?

I like the 3 prongs, less metal more diamond...

I'll go against the grain and say that the 8 prong setting is lovely. Because of the quantity of the prongs, the prongs themselves are much thinner and less obvious than the 3 prong style. You can see the difference in prong size and thickness on their main earring page.

Here's an idea: ask WF for pictures of the 8 prong and 3 prong martinis side by side in the same size. Hopefully, this will help make the choice easier.

I like the 3 prong martini settings better. I have a pair of these and I love them. The 8 prong setting seems like too much metal.

I have a pair of Martini studs from WF and love them. I like the look of less metal and more bling.

I have a pair of .80-ish ctw studs in the 3-prong Martini....they are beautiful, and scream, ''woohoo lookit me!'' I also have .30 ctw studs in the 8-prong Martini''s for my second ear piercings....I think these are perfect because I find they sit even lower than the 3-prong and look as though they are quitely framing, cupping, the diamonds. Also, the 8-prongs are truly delicate, and you only see the tiniest of prongs from the front.

I have 3 prong martinis (.91 tcw) and love them, too. BUUUT, I think the 8-prong are GORGEOUS, and particularly so in the size you are thinking of. YUM-O!

I love the three-prong martinis, but I like to see more of the girdle anyways. It''s such an elegant minimalist design.
