Hi, I'm new to diamond buying and I just bought a diamond from whiteflash.com...I'm kind of second guessing myself about the purchase because I'm used to seing the diamond first. Here is a link to the diamonds AGS grading report...any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome!

The diamond looks great, do you have any images? I take it the diamond is A Cut Above brand? Just check the stone is eyeclean by asking someone at WF to inspect it for you and to discuss the inclusions, I don't think there will be an issue with the clouds or the feather but it is always nice to get reassurance which WF will be able to give you.

Thanks again for the help.
You are most welcome, it looks like a great diamond and if it is eyeclean then it is an excellent choice. If you are concerned have a chat with WF, they are a great company and are well used to '' client jitters'', it happens to many of us when we are about to spend considerable sums on a tiny object we haven''t seen!

The diamond is a Whiteflash ACA. I asked the person at Whiteflash and he said the diamond is eye clean, but it really depends what his definition of eye clean is....8.5 inches away or actually eye clean. Don''t laugh, but it was an impulse buy....the good price kind of got me. lol

I understand! Try not to worry, I am sure it will be fine and even on the remote chance you weren't happy, they have a 30 day return period so you are covered. If the diamond hasn't yet shipped, you could always ask for Bob or one of the others to evaluate the stone again for you to ease your mind. Their definition of eyeclean if I remember rightly is no visible inclusions face up at arms length in normal lighting ( or words to that effect). So if you are worried just give them a call and make your expectations clear, for example if you don't want to see any visible inclusions from any angle at close scrutiny make sure you tell them that so you are both on the same page.

Here you go, the Whiteflash definition of eyeclean.

You are most welcome and that is very kind of you to say so, I enjoy helping others with their purchases and know how it feels to be a bit nervous!

Let us know how you get on and if you need any more help just ask

I would take advantage of their return policy if you''re not happy with the cleanliness of the table.

Will do, thanks.

Looks good to me, good luck. :)

I just bought a diamond from WF described the same way, eyeclean 8.5-10 inches, and it''s eyeclean to me. I can''t see any inclusions without the loupe and not many with the loupe. So, you should be ok, but there is a good return policy.

Dmarrison, it might put you at ease to know that we''re actually pretty conservative in what we call eyeclean.

That said, though, others are right - our return policy gives you plenty of time to make sure it''s clean to your eyes (and that of your gal), and if not, you can send it back without worry and we''ll work on finding something else. No worries!

Thanks Allison, I feel much better...this on-line diamond buying is new and Whiteflash has been great to say it lightly.

Thanks.
