WF ACA Melee - Share with me your opinion ...

Hi, I am in market for diamond tennis bracelet/ready-set pendant/earring etc..
I heard so much good thing about WF ACA melee when I was here 2-3 years ago.
But I just found out that the thing ( WF management) had been changed.

I wonder if you can share with me your opinion about WF ACA melee if you purchased stuff made recently -- hmm let us say within last year.

i am looking at items made with 5-6 pointers (for pendants) and 15 pointers (for bracelet/earring).

Hi Bluemoon,

I just did some research about this. ACA Melee seem to be just as great as they have always been. Brian Gavin''s melee are also fantastic. Everyone I talked to and who posted here seem to think they are equal and whiteflash''s diamonds and melee are still fantastic.

I just ordered a pair of earrings with .25 diamond (which whiteflash still consideres melee) in each. I''ll post pics in about two weeks when they arrive...

I believe that WF still uses the same supplier, I am sure their melee is still lovely.

I have made purchases from WF (as well as BGD) in the last year, and to me, their melee quality and larger diamond quality is just as good as it''s always been.

No need to worry. I bought a 3 carat total diamond bangle bracelet from Whiteflash a few years ago and last month I purchased a diamond pave heart pendant with ACA melee. The diamonds in both pieces are equally stunning and I can see no change in quality whatsoever. Happy shopping!!!

I have a question: Is Brian Gavin''s signature Ideal on his website =to or better than ACA on WF???
I am in the process (hopefully almost finished!) of selecting a diamond for my engagement ring with my fiance. We are looking for RB, 1.5ct, G/H SI1-VS1, AGS ideal, or GIA excellent, H&A. Found several WF-ACA stones, but then found a couple on the brian gavin website that are same specs, but one is a bit higher clarity and slightly ($40) cheaper. Then there is another BRGD that is a bit more expensive but higher clarity.

I am most concerned with brilliance and sparkle, so I am trying to find the best cut stone. Is a WF-ACA better or do the Brian Gavin stones (since he created ACA and all meet the same or higher standards?

Also, what about GOG versus WF-ACA?

In all I am looking at:
2 BGD
2 WF-ACA
2 GOG
2 Union diamond stones

Does the cut quality vary much among them, and if so in what order do they size up?

Last BGD q: I couldn''t find their return policy, upgrade policy, or buy back - does anyone who has purchased from them know the answers?

Btw - hello ( I am new here) but thanks to this forum I have been an informed and educated shopper and feel like we are very close to selecting a "mind clean" diamond and making an informed decision

for pricescope!!!!!

Pls help - want to chose here in next cpl days. I helpful I can list the stones I am considering.
