In that it was so wild that he was totally unable to control himself? What is a boy to do with all of these sluts but sexually assault them?

You don't know this.In that it was so wild that he was totally unable to control himself? What is a boy to do with all of these sluts but sexually assault them?
Sen. Mazie Hirono“Look, we're not in a court of law,” Hirono said on MSNBC when asked to clarify if she thought Kavanaugh deserved a presumption of innocence. "We're actually in a court of credibility at this point and without having the FBI report or some semblance of trying to get corroboration we are left with the credibility of the two witnesses."
I was asking you if you felt that the environment was so wild that he couldn’t control himself. I wasn’t making a statementYou don't know this.
No one deserves to be sexually assaulted ever. And frankly it's disgusting that you would insinuate that anyone here thinks that.Look, I need to clear the air and ask the conservatives point blank..
Is it your belief that a promiscuous woman deserves to be sexually assaulted? Do you believe that she’s “asking for it” by putting herself in sexual situations more often than women who aren’t as active?
Then why are we tearing apart the past of Ms. Ford?No one deserves to be sexually assaulted ever.
Her own words from 35 years ago are relevant as are his and speak to character. It would be the same in a court of law. It has nothing to with deserving sexual assault. Then why are we tearing apart the past of Ms. Ford?
If she was held down with K’s hand over her mouth, while he tried to f*ck her..that was a life changing and frightening event!! We should be rallying around her AS WOMEN, not treating this like some political event.
There you go, behaving slippery as ever. Forget supporting assaulted women, you will support what? Men who assault multiple women. Her own words from 35 years ago are relevant as are his and speak to character. It would be the same in a court of law. It has nothing to with deserving sexual assault.
Bringing up the fact that she attended a party school or even a single party is exactly this. How DARE a woman attend drinking events! How dare she wear a skimpy outfit! How dare she attend a school where debauchery was going on! NONE of that makes it ok for someone to be assaulted. Thank you for speaking up for these women. There you go, behaving slippery as ever. Forget supporting assaulted women, you will support what? Men who assault multiple women.
How decent.
I don't even know what this means. I support evidence in order to convict someone either in a criminal or public opinion court. I don't support people based on their gender. There you go, behaving slippery as ever. Forget supporting assaulted women, you will support what? Men who assault multiple women.

Yes!IMHO the issue here is whether it's relevant to discuss Ford's behavior or environment. In my view, the only relevant question about Ford's behavior that matters would be stuff related to lying or serial dishonesty. The rest is totally irrelevant, and *sounds* like excuses for why she "deserves" it.
Hopefully she is getting it from the women around her as I am sure she will appreciate it. I have empathy for anyone who is a victim of sexual assault. But I reserve judgment until I hear evidence. When a woman is sexually assaulted, she looks to other women for comfort. She needs support FAR BEFORE anything is proven in a court of law. She needs it from the strong women around her. Why is this so difficult for you to understand?
That is what the Dems are using her as.Then why are we tearing apart the past of Ms. Ford?

I couldn’t agree more @House Cat.
I think it’s a pretty safe bet that people who have raped and assaulted women don’t walk around advertising and acknowledging it, nor do they assault 99% of the women they come in contact with. Just because he didn’t assault women coming forward to speak on behalf of his character, doesn’t mean he hasn’t assaulted another woman.
You only have “empathy” for assault survivors after they’ve gone through your vetting process. No thanks. That form of empathy does more harm than good.Hopefully she is getting it from the women around her as I am sure she will appreciate it. I have empathy for anyone who is a victim of sexual assault. What you call a vetting process is the law. Do away with it? No thanks. You only have “empathy” for assault survivors after they’ve gone through your vetting process. No thanks. That form of empathy does more harm than good.
It is entirely possible to give empathy to a woman who has been raped before anything has happened in a court room. What you call a vetting process is the law. Do away with it? No thanks.
And I said I do but you don't like my position on public accusations. Two entirely different things that you can't separate. It is entirely possible to give empathy to a woman who has been raped before anything has happened in a court room.
I am not missing any point. Women do that yes and it is disgusting, but I haven't so don't accuse me of it. I said her own words at the time in 1982 are relevant if his are.@redwood66 I think you are missing the point House Cat is trying to make. Other women often are the ones who are awful to women who have been assaulted. In some way it’s as though it has to be something the woman has done, clothes, make up, has a good body, whatever. I guess it is their way of feeling this couldn’t possibly happen to them. Rape is a crime of volence, not sex. I think many women still don’t get that, even today.
@House Cat, I apologize for speaking if this is not what you mean. I know you are fully capable of speaking for yourself.
Ok, but how does that mean she deserves to be sexually assaulted?
K’s yearbook is equally irrelevant unless it proves he’s assaulted someone.
Look, I need to clear the air and ask the conservatives point blank..

I don't "let" my husband do or not do anything. He wouldn't do it based on his own decision and respect for me. We have no problems regarding this so don't assume we do.@Redwood, Comments you have made in the past and on here suggest women are to blame, without coming right out and saying so. As a few of us here have stated, this isn’t political to us. You’ve made comments on Pricescope that you wouldn’t let your husband have dinner alone with a women. You would need to be there with them. If you really feel this way, the problem is with you and your husband, not the women.
Red, Most of us on here don’t know each other in real life. We only have the words people type on have to go by. You may not feel the way some of your words come across. Maybe House Cat and I are wrong in interpreting them.
On a Happy Note @House Cat Bill Cosby is in jail.
