Hi All,
I never knew there was so much depth to diamonds before, and I''ve really enjoyed learning all I can. I''m pretty stoked to buy a beautiful diamond and I really like the idea of Flouro, but I''m having trouble finding sources that sell really well cut diamonds with flouro. They seem to be a bit of a rarity. Do any of you know a a good source for AGS0, GIA excellent, and/or H&A diamonds with blue flouro? Does anyone have any tips on searching for a diamond like that? I''m considering about .75 carat, G or H in color and anywhere from VS1 to S1 in clarity.

Again, there is an absolute wealth of information here.

When I was looking for my stone I shot and email off to GOG with my specs including the want for fluro and Sarah found the perfect stone for me :).

They are on holidays till Tuesday but I would shoot them an email, if your after a specific characteristic of a stone IMO your best off emailing trusted vendors and seeing what they can bring in for you :).

Thanks guys, I''m in contact with WF... so I''ll try the others too. GOG etc... I''ll be sure to let you know how the hunt goes.

Infinity Diamonds are diamond cutters that often have strong fluorescence stones. They sell through Winfields, Nice Ice and others. Their stones are beautifully cut.

I got my GIA medium blue fluorescense stone from Blue Nile. 1/3ct princess cut in a pendant that I am now having set into a ring so I can enjoy the lovely fluorescense more.

For a consumer, it is indeed hard to find fluorescent diamonds with superior cut-quality. The reason is tradition.

The traditional feeling on the market is that a high cut-quality goes together with NO fluorescence, colour above I and clarity of SI1 and better. Because of this tradition, fluorescence, lower colour and lower clarity are relatively hard to find in combination with a superb cut.

There are about 45 GIA certed rounds GH VS1 to SI1 with medium to strong blue flo and excellent cut grade. It is no where near as rare as the hype I''m reading.

If you dig for your diamond at the right place you can get the entire list to choose from!!!

I believe WF's ACAs are required to have negligible fluoro to meet the grade.
In this search, you may be better of with Infinity or GOG..

I think the blue flor is really pretty also. Keep looking I think they are out there. Good luck!

That is true, but they do have AGS-0 stones in their "Expert Selection" that are very well cut. I found it hard to tell the difference between the ACA and ExSel diamonds when I viewed in house, but was able to tell the difference slightly.
