Wedgwood at my discount store, $20 for 5p place setting

Thinking of buying 6 place settings, plus sugar/creamer, a platter, and some bowls...

How often do you find discontinued patterns with so many pieces available at your discount stores?

Go for it -- but get 8 or even 12 place settings at that price, if you like the pattern. You won't regret it and you'll have extras in case of breakage.

8 dinner plates
4 salad plates (have to hunt down a couple more later)
6 soup plates
6 teacups and saucers
2 vegetable bowls
1 platter
1 sugar bowl

1 cream pitcher

Home Goods. I also saw the pattern at a Marshalls, but they only had a few salad plates.

I like that pattern, good choice. It''s unique but also not too trendy that it''s going to look dated in a few years. I''ve been on a big push lately to buy things like that. I''ve spent way too much money over the years on trendy things that just look silly now.

Oh and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Home Goods... We only have a TJ Maxx close to us. There''s 2 Home Goods nearby but each almost an hour away which is too far to drive to browse...

Yep, I''m gonna try to get a total of 8 salad plates. I don''t think anyone is going to notice that half are 9" and half are 8".

The sugar bowl and cream pitcher are so pretty!

My brother and his wife have the Wedgwood Amherst, which has the same shapes as the set you bought. I love the elegant lines of the cups and service pieces. Congrats on a wonderful buy!

Replacements is great. I just wish my beautiful, discontinued Wedgwood weren''t so expensive. I have 8 place settings and would really love to have 12.
