Wedding Wedding style collage!

So, even though it was a TOTAL procrastination tool for me, the other day I put together a wedding collage (I think I''ve seen them called inspiration boards on other sites). It does kind of help show how everything will pull together (or at least that''s what I tell myself to justify having spent time on it instead of my research). All in all, it just makes me happy so I thought I''d subject you all to my craziness share with all of you lovely ladies.

Some of the things on here are the actual pieces of our wedding- the church and reception site, my gown, the bridesmaids dress. The rest of it, mostly the flowers/decor things, are right now just ideas for color schemes and the like.

Has anyone else made one of these? Want to post it?

p.s. I''m not sure how large this will be when it posts, so sorry in advance if it''s huge!

Hey cello, random question for you (if you happen to look at this thread again)- do you recall where you mom got her dress for your vow renewal? My mom is just starting to look for her MOB dress and as I was searching for ideas on PS your thread came up and I noticed that your Mom looked absolutely lovely.

Harleigh, you're right! I guess I have seen a more than a few collages on PS before. I found yours when I searched! So pretty. I can't wait to see your actual wedding photos not too long from now!

I made mine in Word too, but then I just did select all, copied it, pasted it into Paint and saved it as a jpg there. I would love to see yours if you can convert it in Paint!

And good eye, that is an Ann Taylor dress on my lovely friend. My girls could chose any AT Celebrations dress in the cornflower color. I love me some AT and it was just really easy to have them go into their local AT store to try on the dresses (since they are scattered all over the country) and then order them online when they went on sale.

i have about ten different layouts made on graphic converter...unfortunately, i have no clue how to convert them on a mac to where any of them could be posted anywhere.

what kind of computer doesn''t have some sort of paint program for the technologically UNsavvy??!?! ::stomps off into the sunset to pout::

freke, our colors and taste are so similar, i could email you my ENTIRE inspiration folder and you send me yours, and we''d probably only get about five new pix apiece, haha! too bad i''ve had to tone things down for my conservative FI!

on second thought, sending you my folder would be cruel--i don''t have a single pair of shoes under $500 in it right now, and i already tormented you once with those TDF Puccis!

Newbie and Freke, I definitely have saved in my wedding ideas folder some of the same photos you posted in your collages. Newbie, I have the flowers in the little pail pew decoration photo saved (would love to do it, but have a feeling it''s going to be too expensive) and Freke the centerpiece in the galvanized steel bucket that you have in your collage was the first centerpiece photo I saved- such great colors. I wanted to put in my collage but ran out of room. Anyway, thanks for sharing your collages!

yeah, the real heartbreaker is that the ones we both loved WERE on sale for the same price on eluxury--they just sold out. the marina nappas are REEEEAAAAALLY close though--just a lighter blue and a little more tan.

btw, did you know Yves Saint Laurent died?

I make collages all of the time, and just use photoshop. It takes some time to learn how to do it and get used to doing it, but it''s a GREAT way to waste your time when you''re bored once you''ve gotten the hang of it.

hey - I just used paint and ''paste from'' under edit

I find it easier to make the collage in Microsoft Word first- just copy, paste, and then (if need be) resized images. Then I copy and paste the entire collage into Paint to save it as a jpg. So, no you don''t have to be technically savvy at all. Copying and pasting is pretty much the extent of it!
