A bit off topic for the site, but does anyone have a good wedding music playlist that they have used? I know there are "old favourites" or "classical" but I''m looking for stuff that''s going to have both the under 30''s and over 50''s up and wiggling on the dance floor.

Any ideas?

Maybe try this in the Bride WorldWide and Grooms Grooves area where planning is discussed!

I just compiled a list of favorite songs, also listen to favorite radio stations and write down tunes you like. Your DJ should have a broad repotoire and if they don't...burn the songs onto CD's for him from your own collection.

The time at the reception goes by VERY fast! I didn't even do a formal playlist but he didn't even get through all my chosen songs before it was over! So you won't need AS many songs as you may need depending on your timeline.

For the appetizers and filler I gave him 'generic' ideas aka St. Germain or Light Jazz and things like that. Honestly no one even notices that filler music because there is so much going on!
