Hi everyone,

Have any of you tried ordering any gowns or accessories from www.dhgate.com?? I just ordered a veil from there for just $5 as a trial :) It's free shipping so if I'm disappointed with the product or whatnot, I only sacrificed $5 to try it.

I currently live in Vancouver and wedding gowns are just so darn expensive :( I'm really tempted to buy one from that website, but maybe I should wait until I get the veil, or if any of you ladies could give me some feedback. Thanks so much :)
 
You'll have to post pictures when you get it! I haven't done more than online browsing for attire stuff. I haven't gotten up the nerve to go try on any dresses, yet, so I haven't even BEGUN to think about accessories!
 
Will do :) the price I paid for the veil was ridiculously cheap! If the quality is bad, well, the reason is super obvious LOL :) I'll probably be getting it in 30 days.
 
I've never heard of that website. Hm. I'm weary about ordering things from out of country without much reviews. Have you heard of Jasmine's Bridal? A lot of ladies on the wedding bee website have ordered dresses from them, and have posted their reviews and photos. It's not $100/dress, but it isn't a million bucks, either. I think I will be ordering from them, when the time comes :))

I would be weary...I read about someone getting a cheap ring setting on another website and so I was curious and googled it. The second thing that came up on my suggested searches was "dhgate scam". Here are a few of the page results:

I am not sure it is a scam website 100%, but they are definitely a knockoff, overseas seller. So please be aware if you do decide to purchase anything from there!
 
I have received my order from DHgate and I'm quite pleased with it! I got the veil for CAD$5.15 and you can't even tell it was that cheap!!! I hastily took some pictures just to show you the veil. It's quite rumpled but once it's steamed, it will be lovely!

Isn't it?! I get to save some money this way ;) I also ordered 2 bridesmaid dresses for my sister. She'll wear whatever looks good on her. Since it's only $10 to 15 per dress. I just got both! LOL! It's free size though and she's tiny, so I think the dresses will fit her.

Still waiting for that one to arrive :) I have the other one with me already! I'm becoming dangerously addicted to this site LOL! I want to buy clip on hair extensions next.
 
Can you post a link of the veil? I think I might order that one too! I mean, for $5, why not??
 
I'm really interested in the dresses you got; how was the quality and fit, color???? Please respond if you have a moment or two... maybe a picture.
