Taking a cue from BrightSpot, I found these really cute beach favors. I plan on giving them to friends and family that are able to make it to our wedding. I love them both, so I might end up giving both. What do you guys think?
Well, I can see why they were at cuteoverload.com....they are so CUTE! I really love those beach chair picture frames...and the candle is adorable. I really like them!
ETA: I would do both if it's financially possible. If not, perhaps you could alternate the two at each place setting.
Wow, that''s a tough call because both are great! How about giving half your guests one and half the other? I''m doing that because I won a small lot of bottle stoppers on eBay then a small lot of cookie cutters and thought hey, why not? That way guests can trade if they don''t like one or the other and it shakes things up a bit!
Just a thought. If I had to choose between the two I''d probably choose the picture frame just because it''s a bit longer lasting than the candle.
You can always use the chairs as placecards, too!! That''s what I was planning when I was going to have a beach wedding! Do the candles smell, or just look super cool?
Since it will be a small group that will be attending our wedding, I figured we could do both. They are not very expensive (under $5/ea) so it won''t be a big splurge.
Thanks for the link Matatora.
I will check them out too.
FreGoddess: Actually the picture that is courtesy of cuteoverload.com is my avatar!
AmberWaves: I don''t know if they smell or not. I just thought they were really cute with the seashells and all. It would be nice if they had an ocean scent though.
Thanks for the comments guys. I think that I will go with them. That is if I don''t find anything else between now and February!
I guess I''m the dissenter, but I really dislike those tiny frames because it''s hard to find pictures that fit into them. Even if you are able to find a picture, the photo is too small to really display the picture.
Also, a lot of people--especially guys--aren''t into candles. I can''t tell you how many little candles I have saved up that I know I''ll never use! I went to a wedding recently where votive candles were given out, and only about 1/3 of people took theirs home even though they were cute.
