The video realy doesn''t get started until at least 2 minutes in, and the couple do mildly amusing club style dancing for an additional 6 minutes (B for effort?)

I know the wedding is all about you, but *for the love of pete* do not subject your reception guests to 8 minutes of "first dance"

So true.

The daughter of one of our family friends got married last year. They did the announced entrance for the entire bridal party (all 20 of them) during which each of them did something different and "funny" (like entering on a rolling hotel luggage trolley) then they started the first dance. About three minutes into the dance, the music changed to a gangsta rap song and the bridal party all put on sunglasses and started throwing fake money in the air and club dancing for an additional three or four minutes. The general air in the room was "what the eff is going on?" By that point everybody really just wanted the bar to reopen.
