Hello PSers

We are going wedding band shopping this weekend (yay!!) and wanted some advice, thoughts, opinions etc.

We are going to Holloway Diamonds (drool

) Tiffs and we will check out a few other places to get ideas, but I think I will end up with a band from Holloways. (maybe even WF, depending on what I want, exchange rate etc) Just hoping not to fall in love with another ering setting, don''t think DF will understand a reset already hehehehe!

Firstly, have I missed anywhere I should be going?

Anyhoo, I have a 6 prong Class Tiff style from WF, in ygold, 2mm wide. I want a thin band, no more than 2mm tops. It''s really my absolute limit.

What do you think would go best, I am not into matchy matchy, and I want some sparkle.

- channel set eternity band
- bead set eternity band
- either of these with a milgrain edge?

Help help help, I dont'' know what to do!!!

Thanks guys!

Hi Honey,

The only place I can think of that might be worth checking out is MDT Design who are on Swanston Street. I''ve been in there a couple of times and their stuff seems pretty nice.

To give you an idea their website is http://www.mdtdesign.com.au Good luck!

Hi softly softly! Thanks for you idea! I was thinking if dropping in there too for ideas (we are looking for a band for DF too). They do have some nice stuff. You are an Aussie too then?

Another question!!

I have a D colour stone for my ering. What is the lowest I could go without seeing colour (I could see a difference between a D and F blind). I don''t think the smaller stones in a wband should be a problem if I drop to G?

As far as bead set or channel set go, they are about the same in terms of sparkle factor (assuming similar sized melee with similar cut quality). However, they are pretty different looking to the eye. I would personally suggest going and trying on as many as you can to get a feel for what looks best with your e-ring.
