wedding band wondering

A few months ago I was certain that a matching carre cut wedding band would look best with my engagement ring. However with our wedding expenses now being much higher than we had originally budgeted for I am trying to cut back wherever I can. I recently saw LittleSparkle's beautiful engraved band and fell in love with it. Now its got me thinking if I should choose the engraved band for now and just put the carre cut band on my wish list? Which do you all think looks better with my engagement ring?

I think the engraved band would look wonderful. Make sure it matches the height of your ring and width for a cohesive look even though the rings are different materials.

I have the same VC band - slightly different engraving pattern - it really is beautiful in-person I think it would look fantastic with your Ering!

I really love non matching sets so I think that the engraved band will look really beautiful with your e-ring (which I love by the way ) you can always get the carre cut band down the road a bit, and the three stacked together will look beautiful!

That's a beautiful band, and you could engrave your initials and the date inside, which I don't think you can inside the diamond band. Save the diamond band purchase for an anniversary.

Just wanted to update on this. We have decided to go with an engraved wedding band similar to Yssie's beautiful band from Victor Canera. While I did try to encourage my fiance to get some engraving on his band he preferred a simple 6mm band with double millegrain detail. Looking forward to sharing pictures with all of you when it comes in at the end of next month! Thanks everyone for all your help !
