Here is my solitaire cushion cut, I don't plan on modifying my e-ring at all and I'd like something unique rather than the typical micropave diamond wedding band. While beautiful, my sister has this and I want something a little more unique if possible.

I like clean, modern styles and wanted to see if maybe a yellow diamond/white diamond band would look nice or clash with the platinum e-ring band... maybe a rose color stone wedding band? Or maybe someone has a brilliant idea they have that I can't come up with on my own :D !! So please, post your ideas or pics of your own sets if you have a solitaire (solitaire cushion preferred but any solitaire with a unique wedding band will help!)

Thanks for everyone's help!

I think these would look good with your e-ring:

This one with all diamonds or yellow diamonds instead of the pink sapphires:

I like this one too but it doesn't really have a modern look like you prefer:

I also think a plain platinum band of the same width as your e-ring would look stunning with your ring. Maybe you could get a plain one and a diamond one and alternate them or stack them.

ETA: I must have been typing at the same time as mrssalvo! I like the ring she posted better than the BGD one because it looks daintier. Also, if you have a Tiffany store near you, I would just go and try on lots of styles since they have a lot of bands. That way you can at least get an idea of what you feel is a good match for your e-ring.

I second the Jessica band! I looooooove that one. I am planning on snatching up one of those at the end of summer when my ring new ering is finished.

Before you choose, I'd suggest going to a bunch of different retail stores and trying on 8 million and 4 different styles. You might be surprised by what you end up liking. With a plain shank you have a lot of options that would look lovely.

Ohh I love these! Especially that first one

But, as gecko says, it depends on what feel you're looking for - and what you wind up liking best in-person! Your plain solitaire leaves you SO many options :sun:

If you like a vintage feel an engraved band is another option - here's a video of LittleSparkle's Victor Canera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZOcqRY8WxI (I have one of these as well and it's stunningly sweet) and Shortstack's from Steven Kirsch is incredible - only I'd go even wider and make it a statement piece, beside your solitaire -
