Hi everyone! I got engaged about 6 weeks ago and haven''t been able to tear my eyes away from my new engagement ring for a second since! I''m sure plenty of you can sympathize.

Anyway, I''m looking at wedding bands and I''ve run into a dilemma. My ring is shaped so that it wouldn''t allow a regular wedding band to sit flush with it - I''d have to have something custom made. The jeweler who made my ring said they can certainly do that, but I''m not sure that''s what I want. So here''s the question... Would it be weird to get an infinity type band as my wedding band and to wear my engagement ring on my right hand after I get married? I love it so much I''m sure I will always want to wear it, but if I do get a regular band it will never fit with it. I''ll post a few pics below so you can see what I mean. Any advice or pictures from ladies with similarly shaped E-rings would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi sweetA! Congrats on your engagement and gorgeous e-ring! Now on to your wedding band. I really like your idea of getting an eternity band and wearing it alone. Poshpepper''s wedding band is curved to fit her e-ring and it''s really pretty. (after going to the link scroll down a bit for hand shots) Ultimately you need to decide what you like and which is your style. If it were me I''d go try some on. Good luck, hope this helps!

I''d probably be afraid to wear something set that high on my right hand. I bang my hands a lot.

Congrats on your engagement. Your ring is lovely! I just reset my engagement ring diamond and my wedding band no longer sits flush with my new e-ring, but I like it that way and wear it that way. I will post a pic. You could also get a band to curve around your setting, like aggie suggested. Or, your idea to wear an eternity band and your e-ring on your right hand is great, too. You have lots of options! Please keep us posted on what you decide.

Your e-ring and wedding band are GORGEOUS!!! Thanks so much for sharing them with me! I tried on a little infinity ring yesterday (at Cartier... a girl can dream!) and it looked really weird with mine. I''m so excited to see these different options though.
