ok so i''ve gotten the ering but now my dilemma is that the wedding band might not be flush.
who''s had this issue? do people like having a tiny gap between the two? does it bug people? what are the options here?

after searching for months and having something made that i know she will love (atleast her friends say she will) i just want to make sure i have options and didn''t make an expensive mistake.

i got an ering that looks very similar to the below not exactly but similar as it was custom made. not pave i got channel set on the sides same tapored effect and an asscher in the middle 1.11 F VS1 69 depth 64.5 table 14.9% crown ex ex no culet no flourescence.

i''ll post pics once the ring is finished it''s being set this weekend.

This is a matter of personal choice. Some women don''t mind a gap, while others don''t like it. I personally, want my rings to fit flush if I am going to wear them together, otherwise, I believe that the w-ring takes away from the e-ring.

Some women who can not wear a w-band with the e-ring choose to wear a nice w-band on the right hand after marriage and keep the e-ring on the left hand.

Your choices, as I see them are 1. She can choose a wedding band that she likes and decide if she minds a gap or not, some don''t 2. If she doesn''t like the gap, you can have a w-band designed to fit around the e-ring and then it will fit flush.

Although I don''t think a w-band should be an afterthought, it is too late now and you''ll have to work around it.

Either way, your gf will be pleased with the ring you got her and she will be able to figure out what the best option is for her!

I don''t think it has to fit flush. If you get her a band that compliments the e-ring, like an eternity band all channel set as you did on the e-ring, it will go quite nicely. Actually, I think it often looks classier if they don''t fit, as I like the uniqueness of rings that stand on their own rather than "sets".

Hi all. My first post here. I have gotten a lot of great info from this site. This particular topic is so close to my heart! I have a new three stone with 1.5 center and .40 on the sides. My wedding band is a six stone band, and it does not sit flush against my new three stone. I knew this when I got it but I absolutely loved the ring, so I had to get it. Now I am going crazy trying to figure out how and what to do to get it flushed and just right for me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

So, I guess you can tell I am in favor of flush!!
