wedding band advice

Does this ring need a wedding band to look complete? Been married for 6 years, I just got my original set redone in this design, still waiting for the ring to arrive. Not wanting to spend money on another ring right now but don't want the ring to look incomplete (i.e. like I'm engaged rather than married). Center stone is 0.5 carats, not sure of overall size of halo yet.

What is your definition of "complete?" Is it just in a manner of "I'm married?" Or do you mean, it would look better with a complimentary band along side it?

I think it's really beautiful just on it's own. With the split shank, from a distance it almost looks like it could be a wedding band. At least from the photo as you don't see where the split comes together as one.

If you're really concerned about looking engaged, you could always wear a thin plain band until you have money to buy something more jazzy. I have a 2mm plain band from e-weddingbands.com and it's been just fine and it was inexpensive.

Or wear your ring just the way it is…it's gorgeous!
