Some of you may remember me posting pictures of my upgraded diamond with WF Legato Sleek Line ring. I am planning to buy a Memoire single prong wedding band soon...hopefully...
My ER size is 6.25 and it''s a little loose. Just a tiny bit. It''s not like slipping off from my finger or anything but it does spins.
I do not think I need to resize the ring....

I wonder wearing a wedding band with ER will resolve this situation?

Thanks!

I have the same issue with my e-ring. I''ve always like my rings a little loose, but my e-ring is too big. Wearing it with two bands resolved the issue for the most part.

If I were you, I''d wait to see if it''s a little tighter with your wedding band before having it resized.

I also have the same issue.. And as soon as I wear both rings together (total width of 6mm), it feels just right... I tihink you should wait until you get your WB to determine if you should resize it or not...

BTW, it''ll depends on the total width of both the rings together.. the wider it is, the tight it''ll feel when wearing both together...

Hi elle and grapegravity!

Thank you guys so much for your posts. So we share the same kind of problem, huh?
I am happy to know that wearing the rings together could resolve the problem for the most part.

I have a question for you all though...like I said in my previous post, my ring size is 6.25 (yeah, I know. I have fat fingers...sigh..) and it''s a little loose on my finger.
What size should I get for my wedding band, 6 or 6.25? I am afraid that 6 can be a little tighter...or even if it''s just right, if I wear it with my ER, it can create a whole new problem?

Do you think I should stick with a size 6.25?

BTW, grapegravity, my ER width is 2.5mm and my WB is about 2.5mm as well so total of 5mm may help, you think?

Thank you!!

Hi ootori227,

What I did was when I got my wedding band, I told the goldsmith to resize the wedding band and match it to the ering. I also told him that I want them to be at the same flatness on the side that touches my middle finger and pinky when I weat them together. But I also told him I don''t want him to shave my band''s thickness down therefore I left my ering with him so that he can work them together... In the end, my e-ring is size 5.5 but my wedding band is size 5.25 but when I wear them together, they look like they have the same size.

I suggest you go try wearing two band that''s both 6.25 and see how you feel. If you think it''s too lose, then try two bands that are both size 6. Personally I prefer to wear the ring loser so that if I do gain weight later, there''s still room to grow..

I think since the total width of your bands together is 5mm, you should go for size 6 for both bands.

grapegravity,

Thanks for your input! You seem to know what you are doing!!
What I am planning to do this weekend is to try to try 6.25 wedding band see if it fits me.

I am like you, I would rather go with looser. Two years ago, my ring size was 5.25 but now I am wearing 6.25 because I gained weight.
