Wear on platinum bands?

I have a 2 mm platinum band and a 2 mm platinum engagement ring. I don''t like the look of soldered rings. Will these rings damage each other over time if they are not soldered? Does anyone wear two platinum rings on one finger for several years? What do the bands look like now?

I have worn my plat e-ring and and w-band together, daily, for 4.5 years and haven''t seen any wear from them rubbing together.

My grandmother''s platinum band and platinum engagement setting were somewhat worn by the time I inherited them. I had to have minor repairs made to the gallery of the engagement ring when I inherited it, and the engraved pattern on the wedding band was no longer crisp, though still visible. She wore them every day for--let''s see--64 or 65 years.

So I think you''ll be okay.
