Zoe, yeah they vary a lot! The pure pedigree foxies are really wirey looking and slender, built for racing after rabbits and such. The ones we tend to gravitate towards are minis that have long pudgy bodies, short legs and thick, soft fur. For a mini foxie to exist, they have to be a result of a fox terrier crossed with a miniature breed of some sort, usually chihuahuas or silky terriers, so depending on what they are crossed with up the bloodlines their features can vary slighty. So ours are not purebreeds by any means, but are our favourite dogs by far

I love Lily and Ruby as well, so much that I think I''d like to save them for future daughters!

You all have the BEST ideas for names! DH came up with Indigo and Tango last night. He LOOOVES Tango. I think Indigo is a big name for a tiny dog! I do like Tango though, because she is a wriggly, jiggly nut! It sits well with me. It''s hard when she isn''t here yet and I can''t ''see'' what name suits her! I promise to take more pics when she moves in and takes over!!

Friends of mine have a beautiful spirited mini-Foxie and her name is Lexie. I''m afraid I''m going to have to steal that name for my next pup because I LOVE it. I like it for this breed especially, because it has the Foxie "x" in it.

Oh yes, Snickers is perfect!

yay! i liek this too! my dog was named snickers by the foster parents...he became charlie when he came to us!
but we kept it in the "candy" family...charlie and the chocolate factory! (he's a choco lab)

ETA: TANGO! PERFECT FOR A WIGGLY DOG!
