We did it - eloped in NYC!

Hi guys
Well we did it - we eloped in New York City on New Years Eve.
It was very romantic - just the two of us plus photographer and Rev. It was just what we wanted, a light dusting of snow to make the pics look good!
I gave up trying to find a wedding cape - I found a gorgeous jacket which I will wear again and again so I went for that and I think it looked lovely with my dress and it kept me warm. The weather thankfully was around 4degrees - it had been -15 in the week so it felt bearable. Our photographer was amazing. I kept my dress on all day and saw 2010 in at midnight still wearing it.
In the end I told my mum and best friend that we were eloping but we told no-one else. It was great fun telling people on our return and we didn'' regret any of it - it was the right decision for us and we had an amazing time.
Thanks for all your help - hopefully I have managed to attach some photos. Faces blobbed out as hubby not like pics on the internet.
