I think it has to do with people's safety/PS liability... Trying to keep users anonymous since high value possessions are discussed on the site. Sledge however, has already let us know he is packing heat if anyone tries anything stupid

Haha took me a while to realise there were no PMs but then it makes sense for PS which deals with high value goodies.

Harmless to PM someone shading a celebrity or fandom but not so much if someone PMs someone to hock off jewels.
