Anywho... here''s the story.
It was the last reception hall we "stumbled" into back in March when we took one Saturday and did nothing but visit reception halls. (what a great fiance! He loved every minute!)
We weren''t even planning on visiting this place at first. We had just finished up our last appointment when the hall just popped into my head. I looked up their info on my phone and gave them a call to see if they could have someone show us around on such short notice and they said that someone would be available to see us in an hour! So we grabbed some lunch and headed to the hall.
From the time we walked in, we immediately got the feeling that it would be out of our budget... but it was actually budget perfect! So then we figured the food would have to be lousy (
) so I insisted on a taste test before we even gave them another thought. They had us come up while a wedding was going on and they snuck us in the back to let us try to food and cake after the wedding guests were served. We were able to peek in on the reception and were so impressed. Everyone was having so much fun!
And it turns out, my piano instructors son had just had his reception there (on the day mr jaylex proposed... go figure!) and they said everything went amazingly well!
So... we booked it! yay!!
