Watch suggestions for husband's anniversary gift?

The pressure is on as our 10th anniversary is in less than a week and a half away! I know pricescopers have impeccable taste, so figured this would be a great place to get some recommendations!

I think he would prefer something more understated, with a metal/link band. White not gold. Something that can be worn daily with both dressy and casual clothes. Dressy in his world is basically slacks and a dress shirt. Nothing too trendy, more "classic"' or "timeless". The last watch he had was a stainless steel Swiss Army watch.

I'm flexible on budget, as I realize I have NO idea how much a nice watch costs! Just not too crazy--I'm still shopping for my own 10th anniversary gift!

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks!

I puffy heart the JLC reverso! And I believe you can get the metal face personalized with an engraving.

I have the reverso duetto, so I'm a smidge biased!

Check out Orris. They make great watches without killing you on price. I got turned on to this brand by a watch collector.

http://www.oris.ch/en Check the Artelier collection as well as Big Crown.

My hubby loves diver's watches. His three favorites are:

Seiko core (this is an automatic so he wears it a lot so it charges) http://seikousa.com/collections/seiko%20core/SKX175

Tissot: http://www.tissotwatches.com/en-US/products/tissot-t-race-touch/T0814201705701.html

And the fancy Tissot: https://www.helzberg.com/product/mens+watch+1749956.do?sortby=bestSellers&catId=2&from=Search (I think its the correct one, they all look the same to me)

Once my husband got the second Tissot (the non-fancy one) he gave the other "cheaper" watches to our kids (the Pulsar and GShocks) I don't understand his fascination, however he doesn't understand mine....but it's fun to listen to him talk about it sometimes....

My husband has a Cartier watch w/ leather strap and round face that we both love. (Sorry, I don't know the model, but can check for you tonight!). It was a wedding present and I think it would make the perfect anniversary gift. There are a lot of "classic" watches out there, and he has a few nice ones, but what I like about the Cartier is that it is understated and very slim. It fits very nicely on the wrist even when he wears dress shirts, fitted coats/jackets, etc. It's a great everyday watch.

The price is also pretty good for a luxury brand. I believe the men's watches start around $2500-4000. You will spend more if you want an automatic movement.

I couldn't make any recommendations without having some sort of budget in mind. Maybe you could share the high end of your budget?

Great suggestion! :appl:

I also liked the Bell & Ross that JM wrote about. My husband has been looking at those since our jeweler now carries them too. I enjoy the JM hodinkee articles. :wavey:

I tried it on at my local Rolex dealer in December. It's such a great looking time piece. I'm definitely going to get myself this watch with-in the year. I told my husband I will let him wear it once in a while :sun: . He tried it on as well and it looked great on him but he's not a watch guy at all. I'm thinking of getting it for our anniversary & sharing it. Guess who will wear it more :naughty:
