If Mr. Obama was doing such a great job as Prez then this race wouldn't be so close today. HC should be ahead by at least 10-12% in this race. Most Americans are sick and tired of his liberal policies. Funny how Biden kept on saying they are fighting for the middle class when in fact under the Obama Admin. middle class income have gone down.

Fair enough, I give creds! but I will say in Obama's case he's the first president since the 1930s who inherited a recession as big as the great depression or close to it.. there is more computerization under Obama than any other president in history, with my ability to discuss politely with you across the netland presidents from the early 90s and back didn't have to content with computers consistently taking jobs, and the amount of offshoring of jobs (middle class jobs) has kept up a brisk pace that started in the 70s..

I'm curious, as to Obama's 'liberal' policies.. I consider him pretty centrist to slightly left, as is Clinton. perhaps you are referring to healthcare? I'm not sure if I can agree if so, because a healthier population is a better working population. But I think if one is a conservative one would not like Obama :)

this is a great read DancingFire.

DancingFire, what do you think of the supply side experiment in Kansas? just curious, damn scary to me, but then I am a full blown liberal.

Reaganomics... :appl:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaganomics

Huge debts for military, I'd be fine with big tax cuts if we cut defense to the bone. Kansas is today and the 1980s was Reaganomics, offshoring wasn't such a huge part of American companies.

read this one for the progressive view! http://www.forwardprogressives.com/the-con-of-trickle-down-economics/

It's not 1980 and there's no huge inflation problem, so I just don't think we could see the same limited benefit that Reagan had. If we do trickle down correctly we must cut defense, I don't even really mind if they cut out the department of education, in the same vein I would like to see the VA dismantled and all veterans are placed on Obamacare or a stipend, in this way they may be able to receive better care.
