Was this a pricescoper?

  Hope the ring is recovered and the dog is ok! The look on the dog's face when chomping that ring was too funny!

Oh boy.....
well, if you treat your ring like its one of your dogs treats, the expected will happen!

No one in PS has owned up to it, yet!

DK :))

Not me, although my dog did eat my ring. It was on my kitchen counter (I had taken it off while making dinner) and she thought it was a snack. Oops.

Omg was she ok?

I hope the dog is okay! Hopefully it comes out!
Domt read the rest if you’re squeamish!

My previous dog, Gordie, once ate the dry cleaning plastic that was over my husband’s suit. I had it hanging in a doorway. I passed by and noticed the plastic was gone. I couldn’t figure out what happened until I saw Gordie sitting to the side. I brought him to the vet who told me to keep an eye on him and to call him no matter the time when he tried to poo. I thought he was going to come over to our house. Nope..He stayed on the phone with me and instructed me to very very gently pull that plastic out in pieces. It came out just like a sausage. i think about it now and it makes me mad. He should have been in the hospital. He could have died.

Yes, she was fine. She was just a baby at the time but she was none the worse for wear. I never got the ring back, though.

Oh no!

my freinds lab had the same thing happen and also just got phone instructions
i think it must happen a lot
the lab was fine but did not learn his lesson

glad i have cats

Our lab ate an entire bag of Hershey kisses one time. I was freaking out because I know chocolate can be toxic for dogs. After the vet checked him out, he said he should be fine since it was milk chocolate and that it is usually dark chocolate that dogs can't handle. Plus he was a large lab. The irony here was he was a chocolate lab who pooped foil for a couple of days!

My last Sheepdog had a habit of going to the bathroom bins, sticking his paw on the pedal and pulling out used tissues and eat them. Needless to say, when it came to passing them, we often had to ‘lend a hand’

Oliver and Gracie (both what are the odds?) eat paper towels. Oliver eats microfiber cloths. We have to watch them constantly. It's exhausting. We put everything away but somehow they manage to find things they can still eat that they shouldn't eat. Especially Oliver. He eats the corners on our bedding and pillows. How many vomited pieces of cloths have we found? Lots.

Oh and he also loves zip loc plastic bags and gloves. Gloves.
And Gracie is now eating the cushion/lining under our couch.

It would be funny if it wasn't dangerous. :blackeye:

They look angelic don't they? :halo:

So far they are leaving my bling alone. Let's hope that remains the case please.

:twirl:

My cat growing up liked dental floss. Would fish it out of the garbage cans and chow down. We were used to seeing mint green string hanging from her butt. Occasionally with a poo ball swinging from the end. One of my current kitties eats anything plastic. Bags, tape, bubble wrap. The other one likes paper. Yes, that includes books. Pets are dumb. And gross.

I couldn't even force my chihuahuas to eat something that wasn't food, lol. Two of them are taking meds right now. Two are okay with pill pockets, but the one who isn't on meds has to be forced. He spits out pills no matter what you encase it in. I've never been a fan of the putting a treat on the nose thing. Then again, it would never fly with my dogs. They also hate every possible kind of treat.

My dog ate quite a bit bitter sweet chocolate chips, Off to the E-vet and...nothing. Didn't have the poops, no tummy upset, nadda. Thankfully she's a bigger dog!!

She's also quite the lush. Wine, beer, mixed drinks.. I have to warn people who come over to never to put it at her level, with her long snout and anteater tongue...lol

Back in the day I was working on a crafts project that involved barbie hair. I was gluing the barbie hair to angel ornaments. I didn't notice any was missing but a few weeks later the schnauzer I had at the time came running in through the doggie door with a second tail hanging out of her bottom. Upon closer inspection it was barbie hair. I felt like a magician pulling scarves out of a hat when I tried to help her get it out.

I love pets but they are really gross sometimes.

I saw that. My dog and two of my cats came over to me to see why I was laughing so hysterically. They were a little worried.

I dont have a dog.

I couldn’t do this with either of our dogs as they don’t have enough snout to balance anything on!
My MIL’s English bull terrier was a terror for eating things she shouldn’t. She ate a designer blouse, an umbrella cover and a tea towel. All of which came out in one piece although the tea towel needed surgery.
The pugs haven’t eaten anything too bad although Barry did manage to get onto the dining table and eat very dark chocolate the day after we’d gotten back from honeymoon. He spent a day on a drip after being made to vomit it all up and felt very sorry for himself!

Years ago, when I was a child, our dog ate a box of crayons. The poop was multi colored for days!!

omg @MamaBee I don’t think I could have done what you did. :hand:

Haha @Slick1 Yes you would...I don’t have a doubt you would have done it if your baby was in trouble. ❤️
