Warm vacation

Hello everybody,

So I`m back from my March break vacation this year and next year it looks like it will be an adult only vacation no kids. I think that we would like to go somewhere south Mexico or caribbean.

I usually stay in Fairmont hotels with my bf (think Plaza hotel) so I`m used to staying in nicer hotels. I think that the budget would be around $500/ night. Would be nice to stay somewhere that had food built into the price and there weren''t a lot of ''extra'' charges. Not really sure about what activities we would want to do, might be nice if there was something interesting to go see while we were there. A fantastic beach is a must.

So now I''m open to suggestions!!!! Please give me some ideas. Pics would be awesome too.

My fave place is www.curtainbluff.com in Antigua. To me it''s home away fom home. The food is amazing, the staff is like family to us. It''s incredible.

We went to Aruba nearly two years back and stayed at Bucuti Beach Resort and LOVED it! Not a one single complaint, except the lunch options were not excellent. We often went next door, but otherwise it was definitely a couples place in an understated location.

I am loving the suggestions so far. I am still looking for lots of ideas so that I have a few choices. I welcome any other places that people have been!
