So I am NOT getting rich off making cakes. LOL! Where I make my real money is decorating classes. And I have been doing it in my kitchen, but I want a separate space. I also travel and do kids b-day decorating parties.
 
Oh my gosh those are so great! You are very talented and glad you make a bit of money off teaching others.

I follow some cake makers and pastry chefs on Instagram and just happened upon this post! Made me think of you. I’ve never charged for cakes or cupcakes I make for people but man if they knew the amount of time and labor it takes...

And I could literally eat at least 6 of those cake pops! And I mean literally. In the correct definition of the word!! Six. AT LEAST. Cake is (I mean this sincerely) my favorite food in the whole world, and is way-and-beyond my favorite dessert. Ice cream...ok. Chocolate...whatever. Yes I love looking at them for the sheer beauty and the talent that it takes but I can only imagine how good they taste! A good cake is almost sinful in the pleasure that those eating it gain from it! There are so many bad cakes that when and if you ever got to have a slice of these you’d just go weak in the knees!!

SF...Looks :lickout: but how can one cut/slice such a tall cake w/o it breaking in half? :confused: looks like it is about 8" tall?
