Hello,
I am in the process of painting my livingroom, but need some advice. My fiance and I just moved into a duplex that we are renting, but the landlord allowed us to paint the walls as we please. I painted the larger wall a dark sage and the other 2 walss a lighter sage. There is one wall that currrenty is a smurf blue and I want to paint it a different color something light. The tile is a very light tan and our furniture is wood. What color do you think would look good on that wall? The wood trim is a dark mahagony. Also that wall is the first wall you see if you look straight ahead when you walk in the door. Thanks for your advice.

Hmmmm. Light huh? I was thinking Chocolate Brown. Super dark focal point & put a starburst mirror or something light ON it. Maybe even a piece of art with a light hung above it (picture light).

If you''re def. wanting light -- our bedroom is a pretty light brown color -- kind of the color of Wendy''s Frosties. I like it because its warm but gentle & soothing.

hmm our couches are chocolate brown. Maybe I should do something dark. I did want to put something up on that wall a mirror and our coffee table there too.
Reason why I wanted something light is because this is an older house its actually in a historic neighborhood and it gave me the creeps at first so I was trying to lighten it up. All the walls were that smurf blue-yuck, but now that I painted it with the different shades of sage it looks WAY better.

Is this the same room as the sage green walls? I''m not sure I''d add a third color in there...

Yeah its the same room-living room. The sage walls you can''t really tell the difference in shades. Even though they are 2 different colors of sage you can''t really tell that they are different if that makes sense.

oops in my earlier post i said i wanted to put my coffee table up against that wall I meant my sofa table! Sorry
