“My new diamond” 
Haha hi guys! This week has been interminable because I wired a ton of cash to Martin Sheffield and it took forever to appear in his account, but after 5.5 days (it’s supposed to take 2-4 days) it finally appeared. I’m so relieved haha I was worrying about the wire. My 8.5mm diamond will ship soon!
I’m having DSS and I haven’t even received my new diamond :s I’m really thinking of halo-ing it. I’ve been looking at way too many 2.5, 2.7 and even 4 ct diamonds! How can something so small cost so much haha. I kind of want a 3ct hearts and arrows or OEC Tianyu moissanite to play with now.
Now the next step is to wait for the diamond, hopefully it’s eye clean as promised and I’ll love the color (and size), and then I can move on to setting (it’ll be in this ring with a different head). I think it would look splendid with a micropave halo but I really like solitaires.
Also my bands are majorly in need of resizing!
So is anyone waiting for diamonds or rings or other pieces to arrive? Anyone suffering from super fast onset of DSS? (I DSSed the minute I saw my original 0.6ct ring (which I chose myself) whoops. I think diamonds also look smaller in real-life-perspective photographs so I avoided photographing mine.)
