So,

I went to see my Occupational Therapist post surgery, and told her that I was eager to know when I''d know my ring size.
She informed me I''d have to wait a YEAR! GAsp!! I''ve been picking out settings, and making big plans!
I''m not sure what to do with my energy!!!

Guess I''m still going to pop up here to drool at your lovelies...
Keep those RB halos coming! A broken girl can still dream, right?

Waiting is so stinky!

Wow! That''s a long time

Oh I am so sorry! Maybe you can increase your budget a tad with the extra year

Can I ask a silly question? Why not just pick a setting that can be resized?

Yes, it is a LONG time to wait. I guess knuckles take a long time?

Impatientone, I guess you can relate with your sign-on name, lol!

Tacori, you are right. It would help to increase the budget, and it's a good POSITIVE way to think about it! (I need to be forced in the positive direction every once a while.)

Neatfreak, not a silly question at all! I'm considering having my original setting fixed and resized to fit on my RH (it's a bit bigger, and after having my rings tragically cut off my LH, I'm nervous about them getting stuck. A whole year is a long time for my diamond to sit in a box.

My dream setting is going to be something like a split shank halo. My original ring size was a 5, now, with my knuckle swelling it's a 7.5 That's a really big size difference. I guess it's also partly due to the calcification of the bone where the break was on the knuckle, and the swelling from the ligament surgery.

I REALLY would like to wear something on my ring-finger, though! Any suggestions? It would be silly to invest too much, for obvious reasons, but a simple band that I could have resized later would be lovely.
