Hi. I was just wondering if a VVS1 diamond can have a black inclusion. Was this stone graded correctly? Thanks!

Which organization was it graded by? Some are more lax than others.

It was graded by GIA. It''s a .35 carat D color pear. I used a 20x loupe to look at the stone...the black inclusion is a dot located in the bottom half of the diamond. Thanks for your replies!

Is it a teeny tiny itty bitty pinpoint type black inclusion?

Who graded the stone?
Is there any other kind with a VVS1??

cmaha,

May I give you a huge compliment? Using a 20x-loupe, nor spotting a VVS1 is not easy. Personally, as I always use a 10x-loupe, I would have difficulty doing that.

Huge kudos.

Clarity grading is done with 10X loupe from face-up position.
